Supercharged, Supercooled DWC making it bushy

So I changed grow spaces to a more sealed environment, unfortunately this makes heat always a problem. Lost a bunch of seedlings when I transplanted them to bigger netpots, so I had a shitload of pumps and stones laying around.

Solution: Supercharge the one survivor I had left with as much oxygen as she can handle.

I know, more stones isn't always the answer. but after 2 weeks of 8x 12 inch stones being pumped through the 6.5 gallon tank, I beg to differ. I of course, had to develop a way to control the heat. Luckily I had a powerful tower fan I bought off CL for $10 with a small opening. Was able to run a 4 inch duct straight into the top of the DWC lid. Keeps temps below 71 even when air temps directly above lid get to 85. Also adds a little more disturbance and fresh O2.

The plant depicted is Nirvana Wonder Woman. Shes about 40 days old from sprouting, vegging along nicely. She isnt very tall, but is super bushy. Her roots look amazing right now. Shes only been "supercooled" for about a week, but since she has not added much height, but her branches have branched a lot. Nodes not yet alternating.

What do you guys think, am I on to something here with the fan? Is the cooler temps in the root zone only (continuing warm air space) going to bring out the purps and keep it from stretching if/when I add more light and heat?

Roots: they are brown up top but completely white at the bottom. I think the brown is staining but could be wrong on parts, since rez temps got pretty hot. I will say, the tap root is astonishing, as it is already starting to warp the netpot hole it is coming out of.

Im brewing up some EWC tea now, hoping to really kick it into high gear for a few more weeks of vegging, flush, and then flowering time!

In dwc you need to keep the water around 69 degrees. Those roots are very brown and sick, and the plant looks like it's only 20 days old. Raise up your lights a bit to get her to stretch, get light to those leaves.

Brown roots at top WAS a problem but as long as throwing out fresh white roots it should be ok, looking at the 2nd pic id say ur equipment needs a scrub lol

not a bad idea. debris and dust may be an issue, you may want to put some kind of filter or screen at the end of the duct that exhausts into your bin. i would put some hydroguard in there if you arent already. looks like you may want to ease up on the nutes a bit, too.
