Sunny Valley Seeds

This is my 2nd run of their Cuban Missile Crisis (Cuban Black Haze x EQ Haze (Tom Hill Haze/Old Timer Haze)) this is at 33 days. Never grown Piff strains before this but it does smell like all the descriptions, frankincense, sandalwood, incense, haze. I had to pull it early 1st grow but it was racy & lowkey gave me a panic attack which I dont get lol!! It's very jittery, going to let if go longer this time so will see how it smokes this time.

I have a few more of the EQ haze crosses to try & recently picked up some of his newer stuff. Got seeds for $25 a pack plus 30% off. He also has some 5 for $100 bundles & cheap dealers choice deals. This is one of the reasons I stopped buying packs over $50 unless there fems. Small time breeders out there have some real fire for cheap!!

Intresting there a new one to me i see they use a few of kc brains strains in there work and if they have the piff as well they really should cross it to his haze special strain if they aint already done so cos those two would match well i think cos of the 97 nevils haze in the haze special thats got the incense thing too

That would be a nice cross. He just recently put out those f2's of a few of his strains & some other new ones. I snagged the Blue Mango Haze

I almost picked up the 5pks for $70.
But then I asked myself, " How does this guy give detailed descriptions of his all his hazes but he doesn't have a single pic of any?"
Ive seen Eq haze but I'd be more likely to get these if he didn't write all those descriptions.

I can understand that but not like that's anything new. Most breeders dont even give you a description of the cross let alone pictures which makes me feel like I'm a tester. No pics isnt a big deal to me.

I’ve grown both CBH and Tom Hills Haze and many other haze lines. I’m sorry to say but those are not haze plants. broad leaf and chunky is not the morphology of a haze line. day 33 of haze looks much different.

I know that. I have OTH & a few other hazes myself. Whatever it is I like it.

you’re obviously a good grower that’s been around for awhile.

i’m confused why you’re promoting this Company knowing the genetics they list are incorrect?

I'm just making a thread sharing my experiences 1st not really a promo. I can make a few other threads promoting smaller breeders gear that I'm growing but it's not like I'm trying to sway people to buy anything. If people dont know about their seeds they can see a thread now & at least see some feedback good or bad.

I'm not going to say I dont have my doubts bc I do also grow long flowering sativas but this was one plant/pheno bc I messed up germinating the pack. Cant say for sure if the genetics are incorrect, that would be an assumption on my part based off one seed. Luckily I had a pleasant experience with the plant enough to make a thread about it lol & try more of the gear. $17 for a pack is no sweat off my back, I've wasted my time on more expensive seeds. I'll be popping more Cuban Missiles & Golden Goat cross next.

I ordered some seeds from them and popped 3 only got 1 female Going back to Cali (NYC piff )x (Old timers haze x Tom Hill haze) Has the piff scent and is nice. Found this thread looking for people who grew their Cuban Missile Crisis. Let me know how it goes looking for more of that grandma's basement almost musty smell with some of the piff scent.

I just planted some more Cuban Missile Crisis, got 7 seeds in a 5 pack! I know from the previous post how I was a little doubtful of the genetics but I know this Cuban Missile Crisis pheno I have smells like other Cuban Haze crosses I was running but had to cull. I saw a picture of his OTH x THH male on instagram & it looks similar to my OTH. Maybe I got my labels mixed up, I dont know but we'll see in a few months!

Made an order 3 days ago, but didnt get an order confirmation altough order was paid for, anyone else experience that?

Even after asking for a confirmation, noting sadly has happened...

Yeah that's happened to me. You will get your seeds though dont worry, probably busy over holidays he will say. Not sure why email confirms dont work.

Looked at my last order. I didn’t get a confirmation but got shipping 3-4 days after. I have ordered twice with no issues

Okay, guess it is not uncommon then, time will tell

After curing, it lost pretty much all the piff scent and is straight gas. Maybe it was me just looking for it and kind of a placebo, but again, it was only a single female. I have Katsu Harlem Shuffle and Piffcoast Blackline dreams going now, so it will be a long time before giving these another shot. I will say it smokes well and is solid, but not what I was looking for.

Ouch not that this will help but was 2/2 with my Harlem shuffles. Shot glass of water for 24 hours and then very shallow into soil. Good luck hope you get some going
