sunleaves air pump problem

i just got a 72w air pump, well i`ve had it for a few months. when i got it i tried it to make sure it worked and its been sitting since. well yesterday i hooked it and bam this thing kicks ass, till it gets hot and shuts down. once it cools it works fine again. i contacted the seller and waiting for their reply, i don`t want to deal with sunleaves costumer service again. hopefully the seller will still deal with it and i don`t have to go thru the whole warranty deal with sunleaves.
has anyone fixed this problem? after reading some of the reviews on it this is not uncommon problem with this type pump(thank you china). looking thru the parts break down i don`t see a temp device, so it could only be a few things. like the piston is heat up or maybe the transformer, but you would think if it were either one of those it trip a breaker or melt a wire.

ok i`am going to update this and if you have one look thru the photo`s please. this thing could very well turn to a fire hazard. after it had heat up and stopped pumping air few times, i plugged it up and it never stopped again till last night(a few weeks). i didn`t trust it so i put it in a 3way ground fault, it tripped. well i took it out of my room and plugged it up in another room. went and done some stuff, came back to it about an hour and half later the airline had started to melt it was so hot. it never did trip the breaker. when you look at the pics you`ll see why i`am calling this a fire hazard and i wont be putting anything like in my room again. the smell from what was heating up on the inside wasn`t just your run of the mill electrical brunt smell it burned your nose and throat. the smell was more of a chemical than anything else hard to explain. anyway the pics speak for themselves. oh the problem seemed to be the common wire(green) had rubbed the bare coil wire.
