Hey, I would like to use an LED system in my scrog grow cab of 2' x 4'. any suggestions for which light may cover this the best? would one pro grow 260 be a good idea? or should I consider 2 smaller sized units? Thanks for the input

You're going to want about 300 watts(+/-50 or so watts) actual power for an area that large... depends on the manufacturer.

I'd go with x2 PG180's. You'd be looking at about $600, and you will not regret it. I bought a Blackstar 180 at first, and it's a great starter light but hind sight being 20/20, I'd recommend a Pro-grow every time....

awesome thanks beef! I really like the reviews I've read and gotten one the pro-grow, seems like mostly happy customers and happy trees :) ... What do you think about running a 400w HPS with those 2 pro grow 180's? Im having heat problems in my grow area during the mid day, however I was thinking I could run the LED's on a 24/7 light schedule and add the HPS for 8-10 hours each day when the temps are lower. should I try to use the HPS or does that sound counter-productive? thanks again for the help!

More light generally isn't counter-productive unless you're doing enough damage with the excess heat to stunt or burn the plants, you should be fine. The x2 PG180's should be more than enough for a 2x4 area, I can guarantee 1 PG180 will cover more than a 2x2 area....

Same, I have a PG180 also. Great bang for the buck. I flowered 5 plants under the PG180 with a backstar 180 also. The plants all shoved each other fighting for the Pro-grow light. I ordered the PG550 for a 4x4 tent, Ben at HH said it should be more than enough for my space... Hehe.
