friend of mine was talking about my seedlings being stunted but said they should come back with a vengeance as they're probably working on their root structure. Here's some pics and stats, its not that bad is it? Theyre about ready to begin nutes, correct? (low strength) Last, is it a waste to begin co2 so early?

Under 600w hps 20" away
78 day max 62 night low 18/6, might go 24/0 fan oscolating, airating water,
Water pH 6.4-7.2
Starting nutes at 400ppm or so...

Sorry can't fully tell from the pic but if you're in coco u should give nutes about a week after she sprouts. In soil if it's has organic stuff in it you don't need nutes until about the second set of leaves. And just a little bit

I know they say start at 1/4 strength, my tap waters 140 ppm always, so 400-600 to start sounds right I hope. Using fox farm.

Any experience with co2

I transplanted today, they were 4" with roots three and a half weeks old from seed. I googled it and it seems like othere are much bigger by this time. maybe I'm just being insecure haha

how big of space are you growing in and do you have intake of fresh air to it ,i can't tell what type soil that is ,but i agree with highland if it's soil ,what kind ,fox farm ocean forest is pretty good stuff ,you want have to feed nutes for 4 or 5 weeks, but this cold temps can effect it also what temp are you maintaining.

It was the soil. I made my own mix (jorges recielpe) but ran out so I used this cheap orllorganic stuff I had from lowes just lying around. I wouldn't call it soil, it was mud. I also went ahead and made other adjustments.keeping my ph closer to 7 and running a heater at night maintaining a constant 76_82
