Stud Hunt

This is for all the pollen chucking seed sewing growers that can't get enough pollen studs in their lives. Let this be an open forum to find any and all true male (nonfem/nonherm) plants a better life than my compost.

I have no room for males but seem to always have a few from seed each year that generally get the axe before ever being considered to be shared. Seeing that most of this seed was gifted I feel as though giving back is in order. Those who gifted of course get 1st dibs...


First STUD male up is:

Out of 2 beans, 2 germed, 1 has yet to be sexed but is close in stature .

There are many more beans being sexed atm so keep your eyes peeled for more males!

Oh joy looks like I've sourced a pollen dumping ground!

More like a 10x10 tent specifically for growing out males and collecting the pollen for later usage.

ive got plushberry X black cherry soda. all TGA genetics. the blck cherry soda is the father in the original cross of the plushberry.

so here's a weird thought i had today -

how do male plants react to stress? heat stress, specifically. will a male plant go hermie and start spitting out female pistils?

i've got a couple of dna tangie males. one's rather stinky and i might want some pollen from it for future chucking. if i clear out my tent for the summer and grow a couple males in it wtf will happen if temps get a little high, particularly in the dark period?

would be willing to share any pollen if i carry it out.
