What's this Kentucky skunk everyone keeps talking about?

Imo skunks are the heaviest smelling strains around.
At one time, before med started gaining ground, Kentucky was passed only by Cali in weed production.

Skunk, real skunk, made it towards the east coast.

Kentucky being non med people bred and kept seeds.

KY skunk is the rks that people kept and it became acclimated to the region.

I bought some Skunk#1 from SSSC back around '87 or '88.
This was the most powerful stench I have ever had to deal with, and I have grown out my share of the more recent OG Kush varieties.
I wish I could find some of that old time Skunk again!!!

I had a similar issue with pineapple chunk. Two feminized seeds and two wildly different phenos. One was a poor yielding sandal wood flavored plant, and the other was a huge fluffy christmas tree that I chopped like three weeks early at week ten. It looked like it was huge and thought it would have weigh decent but it was so fluffy that the bud didn't weigh much. Plus it tasted like licorice and I hate licorice.

Yeah. Was a freebie from the 'tude a couple years ago and ran it against 2 x pineapple chunks and my cut of grape god I had running and the kush came out on top as far as fat yields and a super strong upper high. Plus you can pull the kush down 60 days from flip but 70 is better. It has a extremely generic flavor, though.

Speaking of strong smells. I was messing aroiung with a piece of reserva privada sour d that fell off a 7 week plant today before I left for school. Bad idea. I am sitting in class wondering in anyone else can smell it, but deep down I know they do. Its sour but not fruity or fuel sour, its more foul. The fruity sour and the fuel sour both have an appealing smell IMO. This one is kinda skunky\sour but LOUD.
