So I was up in the big smoke for a few weeks and needed to sample the locally available cannabis market 4 times and was pleasantly surprised:

Deal #1 3.5g of blue cheese (offered purple haze, but lower weight) down at the motorcycle hangout. stank the fuck out of the place and got me caught later on by security out the back of the hospital.
Deal #2 4g of some lemony/sour diesel out of a driveby service referred to me from the skate shop. tasty.
Deal #3 3.5g of hard hitting indica stoner weed from asians running a tight delivery service around the university. great strain.
Deal #4 good weed, i forget what happened to it...

all round excellent dry/cure, weight and potency. top grade security and service from professionals.

Prohibition is good for quality 8)

Can you explain how prohibition is good for quality. In my area you get 2 bags of swag for every bag of primo. It's so bad that I gave up street weed and will only go there if I absolutely have to. Now I buy medical which is more expensive but top quality every time. IMO there would be more choice and definitely better quality weed out there if it was legal for it to be produced professionaly.

street schwag - a bag of smokable bud acquired from an unknown low level street transporter/dealer, usually smaller size transactions (upto 1/4 oz)

it just seems that the market is saturated with growers producing quality results (rock hard, nice looking, wonderfully stinky, sticky, crystally, tasty and clean burning bud)

quality of the delivery services is great too.

I cant imagine the political fucktards in charge here ever letting a taxed/regulated system be so convenient and easy to access quality raw pharmaceutical cannabis products. the regulation models they are proposing are mainly only for oil/extracts and limited to a strict list of medical patients.

hands down, prohibition is working here.

Thanks...our definitions DO match then. Except for the biker bar, Your acquisitions seemed to resemble dispensary purchases with delivery more than street deals.

It's a fine country I live in 8)

Perhaps we have evolved into running a dispensary style market - with delivery service

Downsides
- strain choices are limited unless you grow/know
- no doctors involved at any stage of process
- proceeds go to Asian gangs or lebs.

I just wanna see free ganja, now and forever, everywhere, for everyone .

i got my arse floored toking down some of this 'street weed' -
haven't come across such high quality weed while hunting in years - thats why i thought i'd post about it. beggars cant be picky and a smokes a smoke when you need it.

prohibition has allowed prices to stay attractive for producers and the market is saturated (from gang grow houses, to bush weed plantations down to personal cubby growers)

the whole 'medical' thing just isn't flying well down under - and no hope of recreational by the looks of things. wah wah, whiney whinge.... *light spliff and fuckitall!
