Strange car passing up and down my street

Hey guys,

Have seen a car passing up and down my street a fair few times now (white kia sportage), its a small private cul-de-sac with only residential traffic which is why im concerned. Just spotted it tonight out of my window, now 11:30pm, it drove down the street, span around at the end of the road and came back and left.

How likely is this to be the bacon doing a drive by thermal cam? I'm in the UK if that makes any difference.

It's freaking me the fuck out now and i'm seriously considering chopping although im about a week away.

They do actually use them as panda cars around here. Im freaked out by it because its a tiny residential street, theres ten houses down here no one would come here multiple times without a reason multiple times. I've watched it come and go , straight up, straight down. I've got pretty bad depression and anxiety (hence the grow) and this certainly aint helping, am I being crazy?

Don't worry bro. Nowadays they just do fly overs of a town with a thermal camera or FLIR, in a helicopter. And potential targets are investigated further. But I seriously doubt they are riding around in shifty Kia's with thermal imaging cameras.
I would be more worried about someone trying to scope out your grow op, non-police related.

Could be someone with Alzheimer's who is trying to get home but can't find it and keeps forgetting that he's already tried your street before.

It was a police car, we've had people delivering fake clothes donation bags and they were responsible for a string of burglaries in the area, using the delivery as a guise to check out houses. Uniform came around recently asking if we had seen anything, bricks were shat.
