Just give latitude rounded to whole number of your location and average first frost approx date for your location. I have no idea what region 8 would be and I'm in the midwest too.

You should be able to run any strains that don't run more than 12wk in bloom. Problem is, the numbers don't tell you much where outdoor is concerned...but stay away from the long running tropical sativas....MalawiiGold, Y Griega, DrGrinspoon...

Most stuff is done in 70days or so. What is the weather like towed the end of your "season? Wet and cold = mold issues

We don't usually get our first frost till around Oct 20.. that is the avg for the region I live in.. But we have high humidity thru out the summer.. I was concerned about pm and mold

I would tell ya to ask local growers. Some strains offer the things you need and others...not. There is nothing wrong with your own trials, though

Remember to shake your plants after it rains if you let them in contact with the rain, i would build a hoop house 3/4 covered with shadecloth for those hot july and augest days. ceder chips and dolmite lime are your friends, so is azamax. I also suggest controlled burning 10 ft extra away from the plants to rid of pests and weeds.

Im from missouri, hazes and OG. I would definitely suggest a OG cheese because it goes apeshit
I'm from Southern Missouri too... So you know what I'm talkin about when I say hot humid summer's!!!! Lol. I'm definitely a cheese fan too.. I'm running a blue cheese rite now that's super dank.. Some of the best smoke I've ever seen
