Stopping light leaks from PC fans

Hey Cab growers,

Quick question, I've just made a small cab and have 4 PC fans providing the air flow, 2 intake and 2 exhaust. My question is, does anyone have any tricks to stopping the light coming out, or in for that matter from the fans? Im thinking of just using some 150mm ducting over them and screw it to the wood but i dont want to reduce the air flow too much...

any tips would be much appreciated!

cheers
Mo

I made one out of foam board. It extends out a bit and it has two pieces of board in thr.middle.

Think of a maze. It seems to do the trick. If u want a pic or tut lemme know and ill post the link

Sweet man cheers for the link, I'll have to see where I can find some of that foam but it looks like it will work well :D

i used two 90 degree bits of elbow for mine and its working very well. just sprayed the inside with some matte black paint and i was done. you could make a box and then have something like this. but smaller and more suited to your lights of course

Lol, some people are gettn all fancy. I just cut 2 holes in the lightbulb box I got (at a 90 degree of course) and then taped in onto my pc haha
