Also plants with a Boron deficiency may exhibit a calcium def as Boron is required for the plants to effectively use calcium.

From growweedeasy.com

A plant with a boron deficiency may look like it has a calcium deficiency because boron is needed for the plant to properly use calcium. New growth is affected the most, and may look like it's been burnt or scorched.

I've never been able to pinpoint a boron deficiency, but I include it my recipe just in case those nutrient guides are telling me the truth (zinc deficiency is a lie!).

Solubor (sodium borate) is cheap and effective. It's very fluffy and hard to get to dissolve in water, but you only need a tiny pinch for a few gallons.

unrelated trick: Mix solubor with honey and put a small glob in a small bowl where ants are swarming. (keep away from pets). Like magic, you will never see ants ever again. You will literally forget why you put the trap down.

Thank u church haze. Canna mono trace mix has 3% boron in (I'm assuming B is the chemical sign for boron) so could I use that and drop the level of calmag that I'm putting in. I know u like to get ur chemicals cheap and make it urself but I'm far to retarded to that.

Sack off the calmag and just get you some Mg mono or magnesium sulfate.

I think you shouldn't worry until you see the signs of an Mg or Ca issue.

I'm coco as you know and I wait until I see the signs.

Ca for me is generally either spots yellow/white or leaf blade edges looking a little red/brown.

Mg irregular rust brown spots and leaf tip browning and curl up.

I would stop using the calmag.

When entering into flower feed the CANNA MONO Mg at the EC you're currently feeding once per week and see how that goes.

Then add extra if you see more symptoms etc.
