Obama PROMISED (cuz he's such an astute business person :roll:) that if the stimulus was passed QUICKLY (it was, without anyone bothering to read it), unemployment wouldn't go above 8%. It has ONLY been 6 months and already it shows Obama doesn't understand basic economics....he understands politics. They are not the same.

Now given the new and terrible data that has already come in, AND.... AND the increasing bad news economically which is in the pipeline (Obama knows all about what's coming) headed our way, and let me tell you, it has only begun....knowing all this....he continues to drain the private sector and keeps right on spending.

He's not better....not at all. Not by a long shot. I'm just talking economics here....basic stuff. I won't even bother with foreign policy which so far...is a joke...and a bad one.

Jesus Crackerjax, nobody ever promised a thing for sure, nobody ever said I guarantee this or that and nobody can ever be sure we wouldn't be worse off today had no money been spent on bailouts etc.

In fact in all likelyhood they way things were going down hill at the speed of cartman on a sled any other president even republican would have had to try similar measures. The cost of doing nothing would have been more expensive. We didn't after all plummet into the great depression with everyone out of work, they did slow the fall and it appears there may be light around the corner.

Even you can't predict the future man.

Why did you like Bush? Specifically... What good did he actually do at all? Everything he touched turned to shit even things like the simple "no child left behind" crap. Not a damn thing he did worked or advanced our country in any way that I'm aware of. Clue me in...

And not directed at Cracker yes one look at the definition of a terrorist organization and there's no denying we've been one of the largest ever, and still are, a little of that is necessary but we go too far.

I brought Bush's failed 'no child left behind' policy up numerous times, but he never responded. That policy singlehandedly ruined public education - it was the worst setback in decades.

Cracker and company constantly blamed the failed education system on democrats and unions and every time I bring up Bush, they ignore me. Maybe you'll get a response.

I hope you guys see that Cracker knows nothing of what he talks...Its the internet ..you can be what ever you what ...say what ever you want..I'm starting to think that he is a lonely old man eating cheetos in his underwear whilst blogging on the internet...Don't take him too seriously for thats his entertainment...no offence just my picture of him

I actually agree with some of what he says in many different areas and like the guy in general, just don't agree with alot of what he says so he confuses me a lot with what seems to be views that don't coincide with his other views... No need to jump on him and attack him in unison, I was merely asking reasonable questions.

well if you throw enough bull$hit out there someone will start to use it as manure...the guy post nothing but negative comments as if he knows something...never any proof on what he says...hell i don't have to agree with you, but don't keep feeding me BS and think I'm not going to start calling you out..and believe me I was not "jumping on him"merely sharing my view of him Hell he could view me the same way...Its the internet...and right now I do just have on my boxers ....no cheetos though:roll:

The stimulus hasn't worked. The Obama administration has ALREADY admitted it. Try and keep up folks! Before health care scared the crud out of the country, a second stimulus was planned. hey, failed once, let's do it again!! :roll:

The stimulus is really a reelection slush fund of taxpayer money. I'm sure our grandkids will appreciate it later on.

Do it, because I found that this was not promised. The charts even all had the disclaimers all over them that it could go up to 11%.

I disagree that the stimulus did not work, I think it did exactly what it was meant to do, this was always a 2 part stimulus, the first was to stop the blood letting, and the 2nd was to move back forward. The stoppage worked very well.

We never seem to be able to appreciate what we have as a whole. I know when I was a kid I did not care about schools. And I see all the time on this website where people never give the credit to the last couple generations for all the hard work and taxes that we have been able to benefit from. All I hear is how they turned the country socialist in the 30's.

But for me I do thank them. Without it I would not be able to make the living and live the life that I do.
