All of the Vice Doc's are compelling. I highly recommend them. Only complaint is ... their to short lol.

I read somewhere that they were picked up by HBO.

I watched the PBS American Experience Andrew Carnegie Documentary the other day. Actually I watched it about four or five times lol.

It's so contradictory... many lessons a person can learn.

In the end all we want is love and the hope that we did well in this life ... the hope we have pleased God. We all have these intrinsic thoughts dripping on our subconscious.

This documentary personified that well.

Lesson:

“The means does not justify the end
Now is all that matters
Do good now … love today”

Vice on HBO has been pretty good. They are only doing 1/2 hour episodes but, at least they are reaching
a bigger audience now and got a big payday to invest. I saw Shane Smith on the Joe Rogan podcast a few
weeks ago. It's worth watching in my opinion they covered a lot.

I will watch the Carnegie doc tonight. From what understand about him, he has inspired every one of America
top earners to give back in major ways. I think all of his sins should be forgiven for that alone. Old world opulence
kind of died in this country. The Gates, Buffet's ect.ect live a lot differently then their counterparts in the rest of the
world.

Not a bad list from Spike.

Most of his movies are shit but, 25th hour is great, I did not know he directed till now.

All the Vanguard episodes with Mariana van Zeller are real good. She is a little gangster chick, I have a thing for her.

It was good.

Have you seen City of God, the movie? It's in my top 10 of all time films. They started a few years ago putting
full time military in the favela's. They were shooting down helicopters, and having full blown machine gun battles
for a while.

"Two American Families"

I watched this doc with a heavy heart. It goes through the stuggles of the everyday man following two American families over a 20 year period. Which proves my theory even further. When manufacturing left, so did the jobs... especially in Michigan.

Our wonderful state is dying. When I drive down Dort hwy or even near the Ferndale area its gets slowly worse each time. Folks here in MI are hungry wanting... seeking GOOD livable wage jobs.

One example I keep coming to in my mind is when I drive down Dort I see the old UAW hall for sale and right behind it (the old GM deer park) I see a huge Walmart / Sam's complex.

So what did they do to us? Well that image alone tells you everything you need to know. As I gaze at the building that once helped the everyday man earn $15 to $40 an hour closed and for sale... my sight comes into focus and I see "New Jobs" .... $8.00 jobs galore behind that old (closed and for sale) UAW building. Simple math when you really think about it.

Yea Vanguard is a good Doc series done with integrity... which is generally hard to find.

A few other stellar names that produce Doc's are:

1. PBS Frontline
2. POV
3. Independent Lens

You just push play on any of the followings Doc's and prepare yourself for jaw dropping knowledge.

While we wait for I-don't-know-what, people should focus on having the soil nearby growing something nutritious to eat. Take the corporation out of the loop. You can grow a lot of food in a small space.

So much industry could be happening, but we rely on the free market, and the free market says that there are still good prisoners in China to be exploited, so that's who will assemble our widgets.

We let business get too big, lobbies too powerful and humans are ALL corruptible, so it is a completely inevitable result that Big Biz would pay to influence lawmakers, and profit becomes the 100% motivation.

All we can do is shine a light on it and vote
