So I am formulating a design in my head for a stealth grow box and this site is just a mass of knowledge. So I put some silly drawings together that I hope with communicate my idea with you guys. I don't really know which setup will be better A or B. Also, The wardrobes I have been looking at have some weird dimensions too, I say weird because they are not deep enough for any cool tube light. My local home depot has wardrobes in the following dimensions

48" cabinet - 79 3/4" x 48" x 16 1/4" @ $145
36" cabinet - 79 3/4" x 36" x 20 1/4" @ $124
48" cabinet - 71 3/4" x 48" x 20 1/2" @ $115 http://www.homedepot.com/h_d1/N-5yc1v/R-100580672/h_d2/ProductDisplay?catalogId=10053&langId=-1&keyword=wardrobe&storeId=10051#.UIIOEcXA_Sc

Also I do not know why home depot thinks its OK to put the height first in dimensions.

The 48" one seems to be the biggest and the deepest one. Also for the DWC I have not decided if I'm going to do totes or 5 gallon buckets. That is kind of depending of what wardrobe I decide to get.

The totes at the store were
54 gallon tub - 42 1/2" x 21 1/2" x 18 3/5" @ $21
37 gallon tub - 32 2/5" x 20 2/5" x 18 3/5" @ $17
18 gallon tub - 23 9/10" x 15 9/10" x 16 1/5" @ $8

AS you can see any of the totes larger then 18 will not fit in any of those wardrobe. Plus I cant really seem to find an answer how much plansts (net pot sites) I should have on the 18. I see some people that have 6 sites but I think that for 18 gallon totes in DWC 2 plants is best.

Im just trying to find a wardrobe and some totes that will fit to begin this build.

Ok so here is some updates and measurements I have taken personally. I also tried to used google's sketch it for the first time so please bare with me. I am almost 100% sure I'm going to go with the 48" because I want to be able to have a veg and Flower chamber for a perpetual harvest. The wardrobe does have a shelf that runs horizontally that provides support that i'm not sure if I will be able to raise or not (for more height in the flower room by having the light higher) and also a divider that runs vertically in the middle of the cab. I am hoping that this divider and shelf can be relocated without weakening the structure too bad. I also plan an replacing the backing of this wardrobe with something stronger then the cardboard crap. Here are some illustrations of the cab I have in mind and yes everything is to scale with real dimensions. des1.jpgdes2.jpg

So each chamber below is 23"x20"x47" This is with the shelf in its premade place and the divider. So that is ~3.19 sqft. And from my sketch it looks like the flower side will hold 2 of the 5 gal buckets. I want to run a 400w HPS and have seen some of the old mill's price cab threads and people were packing big lights in those cabs. I know with 50w/sq ft=159.72...but I don't really know if its better to go above that. I will either use a vented hood that will fit or a cool tube.
