States and cities with highest lb prices.

From your name BCguy I kind of assume you might be from BC? If so I hear prices in fort mac alberta are crazy, tons of demand cause of the thousands of oil workers up there combined with the fact that its a fairly remote city and the fact that even the people working in the fast food restaurants are making 100 grand a year (a bit exaggerated but there is so much money up there its crazy)
There's almost no where in Canada where prices are crazy. Except in really remote areas where jail, theft (and probably a severe beating) or death (in some communities the juries will never convict other community members) is certain for you if you make the stupid attempt to resale.

These prices are absolutely ridiculous. I'm all for making a profit on your work but at $5K a LB that's almost a 400% profit..that's fucking criminal, especially where this is supposed to be a community of legal med growers. If i were to get a license I'd undercut everyone by at least 50%, if not more. Greedy bastards. I hate capitalism.
Of course it's criminal. Why would you think this is supposed to be a community of legal med growers? Most of us aren't legal, including you, apparently.

About $1k to grow a pound (first setup including lights nutes etc, if you know how to shop and don't use ever snake oil out there). At $5k/lb that works out to a 400%profit, 100%profit on a $1K investment = $1k, 200%=$2K, 300%=$3K, 400%=$4K, so $5K minus your initial $1k investment=$4k=400% profit. This is kinda simplified, a 20K watt grow op will have a larger startup but the profit margin, factored over a few grows or years will be about the same, assuming the the final yield to initial investment ratio is about the same. Does that make sense? I think I'm thinking this out right.
The labor, location and expertise are worth something, too. No on is forcing anyone to buy it.

In CT High quality indoor and high quality light dep goes for 22-3200 //16-2000 Next hand down quarters out to 9-1100 // 6-800 respectively. :weed:

I live in Philly and I was getting Lbs of purple kush for 3g's. I don't feel that its an expensive price. Like everyone says though, just depends on who you know.

Midwest, southeast, and northeast are all going to be fairly similar. States with stricter laws will have the highest prices. AZ is between NM and CA, yet the prices stay higher because the laws are so strict. It helps that, as previously mentioned, LA's demand stays constant or outweighs the supply--nobody in NorCal wants to make an 8 hour round trip drive to sell their pot in LA. Texas has the unique combination of a lot of money and not a lot of growers, but CO & NM keep their prices honest.

The correct answer here is Williston, ND. If you know anything about what is happening there, in relation to the geographic location, that town is why the guy below is paying $5400 in WI.
Im in wisconsin and I pay anywhere between 38 and 5400 for a pound. I pay 5400 for a diesel or a grand daddy purp. Recently got a hook up in michigan for 32 but the drive on 94 is risky for a guy with dreads lol
A boat would pay for itself after a few trips!

Where someone risks big prison time, they will earn big pay. It's the brass balls tax. If everyone had them, everyone would be growing their own.

I'm an oil rig worker in Williston...could have something to do with it...but aren't WI & MN med states? Also, the drive through MN from WI to ND along 94 is pretty long (like 500 miles from Minneapolis to Williston

I fail to see your connection

Oh & a guy at DK's bar on Sat night sold me an 8th of decent stuff for $40. Used to pay $60 and the market still is around 60/slice i'm sure (very strict laws and ppl have some money here in western ND)

Williston doesn't care about your herb. Too many drug tests to work on a rig and smoke herb, unless you've got a good boss. People with money doesn't necessarily move the market.

WI is FAAR from medical. Better off driving drunk than having a joint in the car.
