Started Germination

I have started to germ my white widow and afgan kush fem seeds. However I am afraid I messed up a little. I did the old wet paper towel on plate, bowl over plate technique. I used distilled water to wet the paper towel. Nothing has dried out but the seeds have not popped and it's been about 24 hours. I think I let it get to hot. I heard that warm temps are best but I put the plate in my garage....the temps were a stable 97 F for about 9 hours, I think the temps got to about 100 for an hour. Is that going to kill my girls? What is the BEST temp to germ. I have them on a radiator now at about 90F. Will they come back if they were stressed?

Wow, get them off that dam thing. Temps over 85° for prolonged periods of time will kill the seed. You want between 70 and 80°

I put the plate on top of the fridge, you want warm not hot.

It's only been 24 hours. Just be patient. It can take a few days or even up to a week for some seeds to pop.

Put 'em on top of your Xbox (playstation, computer tower, cable box, etc) and leave it turned on. Gets warm, but not roasting hot.

I have always germanated at the same temp 28/30 but room temp is fine it has only been 24 hours dude sometimes the seeds can take up to 3 days not very often but it will happen just don't add too much water or the tail of the root will get rot on it.Try soaking for 24 hours next time add a little superthrive ph at 5.0 and then the day after if the seed has split or not put it on the towel like you have said and be a little patient.
