See this is the problem with you motherfuckers the op asked a simple question and I answered it instead of preaching to him about what he should and should not be doing...Look flushing is up for debate a lot of people do it a lot of people don't to each his own, it's not like flushing is going to kill your plant if anything you'll just lose a little yield/potency.
It is the most annoying thing ever. I dont understand why a couple of ROLLITUPERs are so freaking obsessed with telling other people how to grow their own plants.

I did not "preach".
I did not "tell" anyone "how" to grow.
In fact, I did not tell him to "stop and do it MY way" at any point!
I supplied factual points of view backed by actual research and science......Ending myth and saving people money by giving them freedom from greedy "nutrient" makers, overblown to OUT RIGHT LIES about product performance IS part of what RIUers DO for each other!

Now I'll tell you to "do" something!
"Gentlemen", with all due respect -
Get off your high horse!

You're not ending any myth in fact you could unknowingly be supporting disgustingly high nutrient levels in people's finish product...If a person feeds with a high ppm throughout the entire life cycle of a plant I believe they may want to consider flushing to get rid of most of those accumulated salts in the soil so when the plant does go to feed again it'll be sucking in nothing but pure water reducing the level of nutrients inside the plant each time it feeds on pure water.

But why ? What realistic scientific function does this promote ?

Nutes go in, roots eat a bit, nutes converted to sugars, starches, proteins, distributed thru plant, plant stores excess in leaves, grower feeds plant with water only, plants sucks excess nutes from stored leaves, sugars, starches & proteins now being supplied to buds from leaves instead of roots, buds full of sugars, starches and proteins no matter how you feed

Proper dry/cure breaks down sugars starches and proteins in process known as fermentation

No matter whether you feed to the end, water only last two weeks, or flush the fuck outta em you are not removing anything from the buds that we all smoke ???

And once again I say flush away, it's your garden you can do what ever you want, pee on em, cum on em feed em dead gopher embryo's for all I care. Not sayin my way is the best, not sayin I know it all

We/I are merely askin that folks stop spewin the there's nutes in my buds nonsense, I gotta flush em out, don't wanna be smokin nutes

No matter what, you are not removing anything from the buds ,,,,,,,,,, period !!!

Now if ya wanna talk about feeding only water to promote a slow fade that's different

That's what I'm talking about feeding only water to promote a slow fade...Like I said I don't "flush" I feed only water to promote a slow fade...And I'm going to be trying your method soon with the boiling water, I think I already understand the reason behind why it works so I'm expecting stellar results.

Why? What do you think your actually gaining by pushing garbage level amounts of nutrients into soils anyway? OR Hydro for that matter? You make the soil/water/media toxic. That then makes the plant suffer under the toxic levels of nutrients it gets.....What have you gained? You've only HURT the plant!

99.9% of all synthetic nutrient makers have you over feed!

An is made for marijuana. A little money goes a long way. Better quality. Then mg

First off I'll say it does work ,, ok?

As for "made for marijuana" ???

That's marketing dept. HYPE!

AN is a shameful example of marketing at it's "worst"..... Way too many bottles of watered down nutrients and supplements that sometimes overlap so you didn't really need them anyway! One sided testing done by NOT "independent" testing! They also have a terrible habit of making abso - fucking - lutely overblown claims of results.....

The finishing "Flushing" agent is useless! (cept ta fill the company pockets)

You say better then MG,,,,,in a way. Bet anyone with the know how can do just as well with MG!

But, yeah, it works to grow plants, any house plants!

Again, what are we trying to accomplish? Removing a product from a cellular level? Is this the future and I missed it? Our bodies are full of pesticides, metals, plastics and other compounds that our cells have bonded with on a microscopic level. Guess what ,they are one with us and us with them and they aren't going anywhere. If we over drank nothing but water we would die (literally)and it would not take that long. And when were dead all these compounds that are bodies bonded with are still there... It's fucking science not myth. And last time I checked it's 2016 and I still don't have a goddamn light saber!!!!! Future!

Okay,
This was not a post about advanced being a rip off.
They are its 98% water and way overpriced. I know how to read but I'm using the line so don't sit there and state the obvious. It's very annoying. More annoying then you seeing someone using AN

I'm not trying to pull anything out of the plants? Those of you must not understand what I'm saying.
Plants store there food, there is no reason to feed a plant the day you are chopping it down. It will never get used. There is food stored in the plants and in the soil.
The idea here is that by feeding my plant only water the last week, it will use up some of the food it has stored. My leaves are green so my plants aren't hungry, they are quite healthy actually and loaded up on food.
By feeding only water it allows the plant to use that food it already has stored in it. My water won't wash anything out of the leaves, you are right. But the plant will use the food if I'm not feeding it.

The last weeks of a plants life is when bulk gets put into the flowers. Why would you want to stress your plant out by not feeding it during this time? Doing so will effect final yield and potency.
