its been exactly 8 weeks since I switched my lights over. Last time I fed was last week, I'm using advanced nutrients at full strength in just right formula 420 for soil. I watered during the week. I have flawless finish by advanced because I'm running the whole line, should I start using only that until harvest?
Here's the calculator

How many more weeks would you guys estimate. Trichomes are still clear since I checked the other day.
All the other plants look like they are growing slower and will finish a week or two after this one

OK cut all nutrients from this point...Next time you water just use plain water with the Flawless finish added, then every watering after that just plain water nothing else and in two more weeks or so they should be done.

My understanding is it stops adding food to the plant so it has time to use up what it has stored. Mainly for taste I believe. Important for extractions I've read. I'm definitely flushing, not gunna ruin my garden.
If you feed your plant the day before harvest it's going to taste like nutrients I believe, I've never tested it tho and never will

whether you decide to ever not flush is totally up to you

When you feed a plant anything organic or not the plants roots take up the nutrient in a soluble (usable) state and the processing begins. The microsolids become one with the plant on a cellular level and the rest wich is basically just water gets used for photosynthesis and the excess transpired. Why on earth would I want to basically starve my plants when what I'm wanting them to do is bulk up. ? So what we are doing when we flush is washing away excess salts possibly and removing food that our plants could use toward resin production, terpenes,THC ect. Those all need fuel to happen partner and helping the plant eat by feeding just makes it easier for the plants to do it quickly. The only person that's going to "ruin" your garden is you if you continue to believe all this crap. Happy harvests....

Absolutely! No matter what you feed your plant it will not flavor the plant in any way shape or form. You can however ruin the flavor by not drying and curing it properly.

Throwing extra water at it or starving it will only cause stress and we all know a stress free plant will grow at its optimal potential.

Garbage myth perpetuated by money worshiping nutrient company marketing departments and CEO's PERIOD!

See this is the problem with you motherfuckers the op asked a simple question and I answered it instead of preaching to him about what he should and should not be doing...Look flushing is up for debate a lot of people do it a lot of people don't to each his own, it's not like flushing is going to kill your plant if anything you'll just lose a little yield/potency.

Well I do have children 8)

But this is about teaching new growers, spreading common sense and killing stupid myths

I for one don't care what folks do in their gardens, if ya want to flush, then flush but don't go around perpetuating the freakin myth that without a flush you're smokin nutes, it's total bull and nonsense.

Rather than arguing about flushing more time should be spent teachin proper cures
