So this is actually my 2nd time around and the 1st attempt wasnt so succesful. The 1st attempt failed due to not being properly prepared but this time I want to invest the money and do it right (still on tight budget though). So Im planning on converting one of my old dressers into a frow box. I have ordered my 400w hps+mh light and am now tackling the venting part of the setup. Ive never done this before so sorry if I sound like a complete noob, kinda am lol. Now this is only going to be for personal use nothing extreme. What I need to know if you guys could is, what parts am I going to need to purchase and how many for setting up the ventilation for the grow box. basically from what ive been brainstorming is that I will need 2 inline fans, one for intake and one for exhaust, the exhaust will have a carbon filter as I need to keep smell down because I live in a apartment. Im confused if there is a difference between inline fan and a exhaust fan, ? I was just thinking as long as I have 2 holes in the box, one taking in fresh air and one blowing air out... Also if I have the carbon filter will the ducting have to lead outside or what or will the smell be neutralized after filtering through the carbon filter? So if any of you more experience guys can shed some light on how to ventilate a smaller sized grow box and let me know what the names of the peices i need to purchase that would be awsome. This is my 1st post on here I just found this site after trying to do some research. Any suggestions welcome!
