Interesting things I'm observing. My 7 week sample finally dried and I've been playing with it. So what I believe is this plant has stronger trichomes than most plants. By stronger I mean either thicker walled or it just doesn't let the terpenes through the same. IMO this is why the strain is fairly low odor. On top of that, when I play with a bud gently it just feels furry, not sticky. But once u start to apply more pressure those trics start popping and the sticky ensues. I trimmed 3oz and had to clean my scissors at least 6 times. So sticky in fact that it would hold my spring loaded trimmers shut. Anyways, those are just my uneducated thoughts for the moment :)

Clone I put in rockwool and sits on hit heat pad, it did root fast, I would say in 5 days it had roots..
I like the structure of the plant, the node spacing is great and smell is awesome in veg!!

You know my wife has said it smells like piss at times too, but I can't seem to pick it up with my own nose :)

K, here was Chakas rotation for the last several years. 8 week strains. Plants were chopped, new plants were moved into flower, new clones taken from those - all in the same day. Clones would spend the first month rooting and vegging in solo cups. Transplant to 1 gal for the second month, then into 5gal and flower. Rinse, repeat. It worked great. Did it with dozens of strains.

Then I started growing this motherfucker and all that went out the window! This was already taken 2 weeks later than normal and in an effort to slow it down I left it in the solo cup to get rootbound. Imagine if I had gave it more room! So I'm still trying to nail down a new schedule for this. I'm thinking literally just a month for cloning and veg combined. They're starting to struggle and I can't blame them! They just got a few more days to wait.

Oh yeah! I also cut about 4" off of them all about 2-3 weeks ago. Lol I just remembered that.

Short version: .9 gpw SRSOG#2

Numbers numbers time for some numbers! K, so my previous best in this space was 2.25lb. That's soil growing, 1200 watts, my setup is fairly unchanged. And now that I think about it, that 2.25 was hit with 1600 watts when I ran a 1k and a 6.

Well I beat it, 2.38 for this round. Worth noting that was also done with half as much veg time. 1 month vs 2. I hope to get lab tested this week.

I talked a lot of shit about this plant going in, kinda put more pressure on myself :) but I said it was gonna be my best grow and biggest harvest and it was just that! Although I'm already tweaking it for next round cuz I know I can still do better with it.
