Looking real sweet bro. Sometimes a little extra stretch can be a good thing. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you.

Hey im trying to get my head around this. I have a three fan swamp cooler. I changed the fan to brand new axels fans that are half as loud. I currently run drain to waste. I want to invest in a reservoir chiller.
I have 55 gallon res. I was looking at the 1/10 hp eco plus water chiller And two small 250gph pumps.
The reservoir has to stay in the room tho. Im going to run one pump to the 3 fan chiller and the other to the water chiller and both returning to the reservoir.
Im wondering if i should keep the chiller out of the room? Is it worth it to switch to the res and chiller? Right now im maintaining 29C temps (84f) 9000w hps

Yes, I would definatley get a chiller if you are running 80+ temps in your reserviors. Also, I would recommend keeping it out of the room because they do put off quite a bit of heat. Optimal root zone temps are ~68 deg and my understanding is that over 80 deg they really start to have issues absorbing nutrients. I know in my case I saw an amazing improvement in my ladies when I started keeping the reserviors at 68 deg. I am wondering though, unless I read your question wrong, why are you res temps so high in a drain to waste system? Until you get the chiller, I would mix smaller amounts of nutrients at a time if your reservior is getting that warm.

No, DTW is not ebb&flow. My bad, for some reason I thought you hand watered. I would bring those res temps way down then and yes, keep the chillers out of the room if you can.
lookin great bro, wanna see these ladies bloom.

Drained and re-filled the reserviors last night and started the shooting powder today. I drop the ppms down to 800 ppms before adding the shooting powder and the ppms jumped up to 1050 after adding the shooting powder. I added two schaets of shooting powder per 50 gal res and will double that strength week 7 and 8.

It's all good man. This is Purple Kush from the old SR71 club in SF .. now Blue Sky. It is the oaksterdam clone only version. There are a lot of purple strains out there, but the SR71 PK is my favorite. It doesn't get as purple as grand daddy, but IMHO is a higher grade smoke. There is a Vegas strain and a lot of the seed companies are comming out with their version of purple kush. Erkle if you can find the original clone only strain is bomb as well, but there are many strains out there being called Erkle that aren't the orignal. Watch for some stretchy plants with the GDP, it will get tall if you let it.
I would like to get my hands on some Jedi Kush, which is very close to pk, but yeilds are bigger and she turns a darker purple.
