The plants are definitely looking better now than they were early on, nice job man.

A couple of tidbits I'll share that I've picked up along the way...

  • Run the PK13/14 a bit earlier than you are now. I recommend hitting them with it right around week 5 instead of week 7 or 8.
  • After the cotyledons grow out and your first set of true leaves appear, don't be afraid to water the plants at .8 - .9 EC if you're in coco. Somewhere around 5ML/gallon of each A&B will get you in that range. I was noticing the plants weren't doing too well early on and that was simply because they weren't getting enough food.
  • Defoliation can be a touchy subject on RIU but defoliating leaves isn't as bad as some make it out to be. I understand the concept of keeping the 'solar panels' on the plant for photosynthesis, but I've found there to be a happy balance between tucking fan leaves and stripping them off altogether. I've personally found myself defoliating more nowadays than ever before. I encourage you to look into grandmasterlevel, you can find him on youtube. Watch what he does.
Thanks bro.

Some people say to use it at about 3 weeks before harvest when they really start to swell thus the reason for using it now because i will take them to about 10 weeks.

They were struggling at a young age because she was struggling with cold temps and over feeding.

Yeah defoliating can be a touchy subject. I have always done some sort of defol to allow more light to the rest of the plant. Next grow im not going to defol to see what sort of difference there is.

Next grow the temps and humidity need to be dialed in better. Some other minor changes aswell to try and avoid hermies next round.

3lb's a run with a 600w light? That's 1344 grams (2.24 grams per watt). I don't believe that for one minute.

If EVERYTHING was dialed in and the grower was supplementing CO2... plus growing out a high yielding strain that they're familiar with, then yes 3lbs could be achievable with a 1000w HPS. But a 600w? No way Jose.
Oh my God, yes way.
I've been called a bull shit artist on here more then anyplace I have been.
I am not going to bash you but show my pictures when I get back to my computer.

How strong were you feeding early on? I looked back briefly but couldn't find any info earlier on in the thread about that. I don't doubt I missed it somewhere.

It was about 6ml per litre of plant start by vitalink. Cant remember what ppms/ec. It was a mixture of that and also i used coco that had dried out to begin with and then when they were transplanted i forgot to flush the cheap coco thoroughly.

I just seen you mention the over feeding earlier on, I’m told with coco you can’t over water and treat it like hydro. I had issues at the start with feeding too. I thought i was over feeding but i spoke to a coco expert in a different forum and it turned out they weren’t getting enough. I bumped the feeds up to twice a day and they shot up. The other reason could be the pot size. If the roots get bound in a small pot it can slow the growth. I’m in no way a coco expert but I had great results following his advice. Hope it helps

Thanks bro. Temps are around 22-24c lights on and about 16c lights off. I know how you feel man. That itch to switch is a bitch haha. Be plenty of bud porn for the next couple weeks :)

Yeah thanks for the info bro. Had someone tell me alright. Im going to be switching to full hydro after the next run. Recirculating drip system with straight perlite. Should be fun lol

Nice!! I’m getting similar temps with a 10 degree different with night and day. First time iv managed this haha. I think venting the outtake up the chimney has worked wonders.

The coco was driving me nuts at the start. I didn’t know what was happening. Over feeding under feeding not feeding :wall: I’m running the IWS Flood and Drain now so should really have got the clay pebbles. I lost my nerve and went with a coco / pebble mix haha

Be pulling the aircon out now in a few months haha. I think I paid about €700 incl shipping from the UK for the 12 Pot Pro. It takes away so much work and very easy to use once you have the right medium. Alien do the same setup but it’s more expensive. Iv heard the Alien isn’t as reliable due to some components they use. Like IWS uses float switches whereas Alien use water level sensors which can fuck up (not good)

You can also get an IWS drippers system if your going down that route. They all come with 2 year warranty. After sales respond within a few hours of contacting them and very willing to help

Thanks, its pulling about .65gpw. Not bad but could be better. Yeah your better off doing it yourself if you have them parts already. Just get a good quality pump and use z7 or similar to keep the lines free of sludge. I’m actually thinking of switching to flood tables as this system doesn’t allow for males so I can’t run regulars without a mother tent. I have dark plasma and agent orange but they’re both regulars. Can’t wait to get them going, have the packs sitting there since last year :(
