Spore Syringe question

When heating the needle over the flame should I let it fully cool down before injecting the spores or do it while it is still hot?

I usually use liquid culture so burning a little mycelium cooling the needle upon injection does me no wrong.


But.... with spores I'd probably let it stop glowing red before plunging it in for injection, make sure you are using a flow-hood or at least working in a sterile environment because the super common rockwool green trich will contaminate your projects.
