I'd recommend Fox Farms Don't Bug Me, it's cheap and works for me every time, hope that helps!

dud, go to home depot or any store, almost, and get you a couple of hot-shot no pest strips...simply hang it in your room close to your babies and in 3-5 days your mite problem will be history. its by far the simplelist way to go. absolutely no harm or stress to plant...none.ive been using them for 2 years now and i swear by them! i fucked up my share of plants in years past trying to kill the fuckers and now i only use no pest strips...peace

i used this stuff called "no spider mites" its a non toxic spray. it works, but i will admit i had to battle the mites for like two weeks. i've heard if you keep lady bugs in your grow room they will eat the mites. thats more of a preventative measure though

Interesting suggestions...this is what I went to school for so I will add my 2 cents..I have delt with mites usually on OUTSIDE grows so 1st question you have to ask WHERE DID THEY COME FROM? Important becasue if you do get rid of them they will return if the source (another plant in the area? ) is not eliminated. If this is your bedroom I suggest NOT using pesticides - that said the best way to combat them is with any of the available soap washes on the market as previous posters have mentioned OR if your not rich dishsoap (1 tsp per quart will do the trick all the soaps act the same way they stop the adult mites from breathing cause it clogs up their pores HOWEVER since you should rinse your plants to avoid uptake of highly alkaline soap through the leaves this leaves behind viable eggs which will hatch so you have to repeat the process every other day untill you see only dead white mite bodies on the bottom of the leaves no eggs and no movement -- a 10X loupe is suggested becasue they are small -- so you can see whats happening -- I usually take a leaf and put it under the scope to get a better view of my plants health -- few other things -- they like veggie growth more then sticky buds so if the infestitaion isint too bad with careful observation a healthy plant can usually out grow the problem but I have only have experience with that outside -- for sure you should isolate the hell and make sure other plants dont become infested as well -- as far as sticky strips go - makes sence to PREVENT some kinds of FLYING insects and maybe some mites also -- but I have never herd of mites jumping off there wonderful stoned necture world into certain death -- these mittes do not fly - so they would have to walk to the no pest strip -- the only thing about the no pest strips is I sometimes find myself wearing one of them after they get caught in my hair -- they may be the next big fasion statment instead of dreads --

just to clarify...no pest strips look like air fresheners.no sticky mess! its the fumes that do the job and does it quite well. i occasionally get a case of mites and when i see a mite i just pull out my hot shots [2] and let it do its job. and i would only recommend using these on grows that can be sealed pretty tight. i agree...no bedroom grow or anywhere you eat just to be safe and dont let it contact your product.again, just to be safe. also best affects is when lights off and no air extractions, peace

I used Hot shot pest strips and had mites with it sitting next to the plants. So either it only lasts a couple months or it doesn't work well. For me I dip the entire plant in a 5gal bucket of max strength azamax. It stuns the plant for about a week which sucks but 2 treatments and they won't go near your poison plants. I also Have used No spider mites and it does kill them but gonna take a lot more treatments then a poison vs organic

those strips only good for about a month. i keep mine in a zip lock bag when not needed. they last longer that way. ive heard other people didnt get pos. results as well.yet i swear by them. ive done the dips sprays and foggers and i seriously fucked up some plants thats why im so sold on the strips. im way too busy to dip fog or spray when i can simply hang a strip and forget about it. peace

Same here, I've been using the Hot Shots strips for years.
They work EVERY time.
I've noticed that the people that claim they don't work, haven't used them properly.

Personally, I wouldn't recommend them for your particular application though, as your grow tent is in the same space you sleep in.
It's not good to breath in the vapors for extended periods.

If you can move your tent, or sleep in another room for about a week, then for sure, use the strips.

I've noticed that people that used them, have to keep using them.
I prefer a product that I use and never have to use again,Like mighty wash.

You're the very first person I've ever heard say that about the HS strips.
Maybe you're reading the same posts as me?
All the ones where people have used them incorrectly, so the mites or other pest weren't actually eradicated?
Every single person I've ever talked to that's used them correctly has had the desired results with a single usage.

the reason ive had to use them more than once is because i make no effort to prevent them. my room is over an acre of distance from my house so i probably track em in like that.but also i compost my used soil for reuse so i bring my soil in from outside. trust me....if those hot shot strips didnt work id be alot more careful, peace

most sure fire way, take a few good clones from the mothers and soak in a cedar oil/ neem oil bath in your sink for 15 minutes before the actual cloning is done. Get rid of the infected plants and soil and clean your entire system lights ballast bulbs walls tent everything with a spray bottle with h20 and a little bleach in it to kill and disinfect the area, wash all pots in a bleach bath in your bathtub, if you have pets keep them out of grow area. You say its in your bedroom, nothing can be laying around on the floor ie dirty cloths etc as it gives the bugs a place to hide, keeping the area clean is imparitive, humidity needs to be 50% any less and your making a sex pot for them to breed and munch your crop as it allows the mites to transpire at a higher a rate and makes them eat more which causes higher rate of egg laying, doctor doom bug bombs work very well, a small can can do 2-3 treatments easily, just cut of the locking tab and dispense by hand for 15 seconds and hold breath, leave the room, sleep on the couch, i would bomb the room that the grow is in 2-3 times while the clones are rooting in a different area after you treat and disinfect the area, good luck mites can over take your whole house rather quickly and make growing anything inpossible. I knew a guy who shut his room down for over a year, started from seed and still got mites

funny you keep dumping mightywash out there, a product that has had reports of causing pm outbreaks, funny they sell a pm product and also say you need to wash it with there third product to ensure total effectiveness, all it it sis electromegneticly altered water with iron added to add in releasing the hydrogen ion bond in the mites which increases the density of the mite and makes it explode which is why they want you to wash the plant after you treat it with pm wash or mightywash, it may work but i have no need for it in my grow as i have zero pest issues, i may try it in the future but i pretty sure i can figure out the rate and intensity of charge and make the shit myself, hell i made my own form of ed rosenthals zero tolerance which works awsome all with essential oil extract from your local health food store for less then a one bottle of ER's ZT
