I'm leaning toward TGA Querkle for my next round after Vortex. Not a full indica, but the effects I have read about sound very nice for the evening (starts out happy/euphoric, ends mellow and sleepy).

Any thoughts or experiences with Querkle?

What's the trick to posting full sized pics? I gotta figure that out...
looks good SS....Yeah took me a while to figure out the photo thing aswell...

So when you have inserted a photo onto your page....(and before you post your reply) double left click on the photo....and a whole heap of options will come up...you got it from there... :D

Nice! Thanks!

I'll see if I can snap some pictures after work today. Gonna be busy trimming... How the hell do people trim for a living? I enjoy it for an hour or two, then I just start going crosseyed!

Trim a little, smoke a little, trim a little, smoke a little, trim, trim trim, smoke a little, smoke a little. I'm hoping to get such a good grow going this year that I won't feel guilty getting a trimmer!

The vortex is a real pain to trim. Super sticky and lots of bud sites. I grew a couple three years ago and it was a really nice creeper high that did a couple evolutions before settling in. I liked it best at night. But I guess you aren't trimming that yet. Hope your XJ is as good as it sounds.

I'd recommend the LA Confidential for a good indica strain. That was my favorite from last season and I'm usually a sativa guy. Real earthy with a pine scent and a sweetness that unlocks when you smoke it.

Yeah, I'm already dreading trimming this Vortex, but what'ya gonna do. Haha!

The XJ came out pretty nice. Ended up with about 3/4 lb or so. It's fluffier than the last time I grew it (due to a little excess nitrogen in bloom, and some temp swings), but it's also frostier and more stinky than last time. I'd say it's higher quality this round, but the "bag appeal" may be a little lower (not that it will ever see the inside of a bag or end up in the hands of anyone I'm not friends with).

Thanks for the tip on LA Con. That one does interest me.

I got a little work done in the garden last night. I chopped the three confirmed males, and topped the 6 females and the one that still hasn't showed sex. They got topped above the second node, following Nugbuckets' mainlining technique. I won't be taking the bottom branches as clones, but I very well may see if I can store them in the fridge (unrooted) for a while. Long-term cold storage of cuttings is very intriguing to me. If I can keep some genetics alive without providing them any light or special care, that would be cool. Who knows. Maybe I'll find something amazing from this pack of Vortex?

If you don't already have one of these kids lap trays, you're missing out... Trim goes in the left pocket, buds go in the right pocket. It supports your arms, and you can sit in a proper posture without hunching over a table.

Best $5 you'll ever spend...

thats cool spicy.. I usually just throw the top part of a lazy suzan on the ottoman and trim over that. I never seen one of those trays... I don't really look either
