Hi all, my name is Mike. I am a 22 year old first time grower that lives in California, USA. I found this site about a week ago and am on it constanly, just soaking in the knowledge. When I found this section about keeping a "journal" of growing i thought, SWEET! This is the perfect way for me to document this. Let me give you a little background and details of my operation.
I am lucky enough to have an old spa room that is about 12x17x9. You see, as a young boy I ended up turning the spa room into a storage room by leaving one of the underwater lights on (without water) and POOF!!! Thus rendering the spa useless. But that was all in my master plan. You see, I knew then that a recession was going to hit ten years later, that my dad could loose his job, and that our whole family could suffer the outcome. And all this at the age of 12!! I am one smart kid. Anywho, let get to some specifics.
Ebb and Flow System
(4) 600w HPS/MH Lights
(4) 20gallon Ebb and flow style grow tray
(2) Panasonic 340cfm Inline fans (exaust)
(2) Large carbon filters enclosed in their own box
(1) Dual intake window fan at 450cfm (Intake)
(2) 40 water resiviors with:
* Little giant pump at 210 gpm
* (3) air stones
Cloning Shack :
(1) 2' 1 lamp 24w T5 strip light - clone clippings
*using just a dome like tray with a top
(1) 2' 4 lamp 96w T5 strip light - clone juviniles
*using a smaller Ebb and flow system for the larger plants.
