SOUR DIESEL, DIABLO+S.A.G.E., 600w MH / HPS Hydro Buckets

Hey there, I'm new to the forums, I used to grow outdoors back in Oregon, moved to L.A. and don't got a whole lot of space out side any more. So, this will be my first indoor/ hydro grow.
I'm using a 600W HPS Ballast with an air cooled hood. I have a MH conversion bulb for my veg cycle, and then I will put the HPS bulb back in for flowering. I built a custom hydro set up from Home Depot parts mostly, It's like a top feed bucket system and a EBB/Flow combined. My buckets fill up from the bottom up, and there is also a drip line for each plant.
I have two Sour Diesel's, One "Long Head" (I have never heard of this strain before, but the man at the shop said thats what it was) let me know if you have ever heard of it or know any thing at all about it, (if no one has... Only time will tell) and also a cross of Diablo x S.A.G.E. (I have heard LOTS of good things about both parents of the cross, but never tried either and am looking forward to the child!!:weed:)

Feel free to chime in, leave any feed back, questions, concerns, advice... Any thing really.

All info can be used, if not by me, then by some of our fellow growers.

Thanks for joining us on our journey!!

So, one week later, My S.A.G.E. x Diablo has some yellowing going on, and the leaves are drooping... Any thoughts, seeing as it is the only one that is really doing this, I'm a bit puzzled. But, The rest of the plants are doing quite well, lots of new growth and I topped plant #3 about three days a go, so I took a pic of it's progress for you to see.
Tell next time...

Oh, And I think that the one I was calling "Long Head," is actually "Longhorn." But I still haven't ever tried it. Any thing you know about it would be greatly appreciated.

So, I finally found three clones of Mr. "Jack Herer." One of three strains I need to breed the new strain I have in mind. I can tell you one of the other strains, "Willy's Wonder," but the last strain is a secret for now... If any of you stick around, you'll see further along in my post what the last one will be. Any ways, the Jacks I found weren't as healthy as they could have bean, but two of the three actually had very strong healthy looking roots, so I replaced plant #4 and my almost dead S.A.G.E. x Diablo (I'll get to this later) with the two healthyist Jacks. I think they should recover just fine.:joint::hump:

As for the S.A.G.E. x Diablo clone, I believe there are two things that played a part in the bloody murder of a potentially deadly strain. One: I found some spider mites under a few of the yellowing leaves, I removed the ones I found and though I would see if the plant's health worsened... And It did. but not soley because of the mites. Two: The clone definantly had root rot, the roots, hadn't grown even slightly since i got it, and the existing roots were all brown and slimy. Oh well, perhaps I'll stumble upon the strain another time.
