Somthing blue sprayed on my weed

Hi , ima get rite to it i picked up my weekly 14 grams.it was really pretty n had a nice blue timt to itbut when i broke a bud up it wasnt blue inside. It looks like its been sprayed with somthing . It smells like it should but its got a kinda salty taste anyone know what it could be and if its safe to blaze

Salty taste is weird...I knew a kid back in HS who would lay out broken up brick weed and mist it with a thick cool aid mix, buds would end up colored and sugary once dried..he'd turn 250 QP brick into 200/z bud..stupid high school kids ate it up.

Ill try to post a pic of it n a few but i was thinking maybe its some kind if nutrient or vitamin that the grower used
