Solubles?

I'm about to head out and pick up some Fox Farm nutes, since my order was "lost in the mail", and i was wondering if the solubles (Open Sesame, Beastie Bloomz, and Cha Ching ) were mandatory?

Also, my plants are about 3 and a half weeks old, so i should start out at about 1/4 the recommended doseage right?

Thats what i've been reading lately ( 1/4th ) so i figured i'd make sure lol. You use wal mart brand solubles?

I'll let you figure that out, I don't know what those fancy ones cost (I know it's insane though). I bought a 3 pound tub of 20-20-20 powder 3 years ago for $7. I use most of it on my vegetable garden and all the potted patio plants. I still have half of it left. Ball park figure I think I use about a 100 grams of it per grow.

blah lol i can handle $7 no prob! i went to the hydro store yesterday and Cha Ching, Beastie Bloomz, and Open Sesame were about $26 each so i said screw it lol ill risk it without them. Do you remember what the wal mart brand is called? so i dont grab the wrong one lol

PlantSmart 20-20-20 green tub, the flowering blend 15-30-15 is in a yellow tub, mind you that was 3 years ago maybe they've changed colors.

Thanks a bunch frmr, i wasnt about to spend almost $80 on the fox farm ones lol.

URW, now go blow that $80 on some premo seeds you always wanted grow. (BTW I don't think you can rep one person twice in one day, yup just checked Nada)

OK, I did a quick look over as I need to get offline soon. It looks like your still just vegging right. Are you going to make seeds if you get any males ? That was a strain that I'd like to grow in the future.
I just chopped my last 3 plants down a couple of days ago and jared them up this morning. My last grow for a few years probably as i have to move.

Yea, still vegging. I'm gonna veg for about another week or 2 then top, and then veg for another 2 weeks or so, then flower. Lol, i'd like to make some seeds as i dont really like ordering them, but hopefully they're all females! :mrgreen:

6 plants, odds are you'll get a couple of males. You just veg bigger to compensate. I love making seeds, as much as buds.

Yea, i just want at least 1 female lol since its my 1st successful grow so far, they are really taking off though, ill post some pics tomorrow. But i'd like to make some seeds definitely lol only prob is i'd have to set up another grow room lol. although it wouldnt be that much of a prob, its just more money lol.

I'll show you how to do it without busting your budget should the need arrive. I've been working on improving my pollen gathering and pollinating every grow and my last grow I've pretty much got all the bugs ironed out of the system. I wish I would have taken more pictures than I did so that I could do a good DIY tutorial on the forum.

Yea ill let you know for sure, cause i'd really like to get a seed plant going if i have a good number of females. Plus it wouldnt hurt just to know lol thanks for all your help man! I've added a bunch of pictures to my grow, they got their 1st nutes today, so hopefully they stay happy :bigjoint:
