sweet update papa, your garden is at that cusp! I always feel you walk a little taller when you know you're killing it.
Papa Payne, the umbrella man. I spent some time last week with an Australian Vietnam vet. like most vets I've had the honour of meeting they generally don't like to talk about it. Totally understandably of course but it fascinates me still.

To be honest...I don't feel like this year is killing it! Everything was done on the fly, and by the seat off my pants. All the large plants are taking daily string to sorta keep them up. The Gogi, cheese, and gorilla glue especially are being a pain and needing tons of support. I can't complain though, considering I didn't move into this house until june 1st. I skipped a season last year, so just happy to have a harvest this year. Next year....oh boy...hang on for that ride! 4x4 wholes heavily amended with farm fresh compost and manure, 2x or 3x the greenhouse size, and making my GF get her medical card, and going to get a card for one of my customers so will have more active cards 18 monster plants hopefully next year...triple digits # is my goal! Gotta get to getting while the getting is good.

One nice thing though is after seeing Dr.d81s greenhouse, I know the right way to do the whole greenhouse next year.

I have to agree. Mine did well but far from killing it. Mine are to damn close but did come out better in the support area. The two layers of netting are doing ok. Need inner wire cage to hold the big fuckers upright in the ground.

So, did some trimming on the small branch I broke of the gorilla glue. she was still very premature on that branch, but man oh man, even premature shes nice smoke. Sticky as fuck. was a tiny branch, but gave over an oz. Really put in perspective how much trimming I have coming up though...
Yea I have some I took off the poly that are a week or so further than yours. As for the trailer I will have to come get it Thursday, so I can load it up when I am off Friday. I might get it Wednesday and bring the load I have at work thurseday. Will have to see how much money I have for gas.

The bay haze, wet dreams, sour grapes, and sour cherry tops came down today. I left some lowers that were seeded by the Blueberry lotus male, as well as some lowers to faten up. I have to leave the seeds forming till october 14th, so once that hits, then can pull the last bits down
