Soil and Nutrients Question

Hey everyone!

Total newbie here - this is my first post. Thanks to your guys' help I've recently put my first grow room together and 6 happy little sprouts are chillin in there right now, they're between 2 and 4 days old at this point

Today I stopped by a local grow shop and grabbed some nutes to use on my plants in a week or so. I picked-up FloraGrow, Florabloom & FloraMicro (http://www.genhydro.com/genhydro_US/floraseries.html).

Here's the question: since I'm using Miracle Gro Potting Mix for my soil (gimme a break, I'm poor and still experimenting) should I add these Flora nutrients like I normally would according to this chart - http://www.hydroponics.net/learn/weekly_feeding_program_flora.asp - or should I alter to formula? The MiracleGro soil has time-released nutes, but I did flush the soil before planting (bad idea?).

I've poked around the forum and haven't been able to find me an answer - any help is appreciated!

:peace:Thanks!

One flush won't completely rid the soil of the time release nutrients as they are designed to slowly break down over a few months worth of water. To answer the question though, no. When using a fertilizer mixed with another you should always start at 1/4 strength and look for nute burn. If nothing then raise it to 1/2, and then finally to full strength. (1/3 or 1/2 strength is probably what I'd start at actually but I'm more the type that likes to over do it and then learn from my mistakes)
