I'm throwing around a couple different ideas for my closet grow, rubbermaid hydro or the one I sorta leaning towards is a sparate closet inside my closet concealed the oustside of cardboard boxes.

now to my ?'s
If I use soil, what is best choice for someone where there isn't any hydro stores and I cannot order online. and what are good plant foods ( nutes) I should get.

I'm gonna grow 1-2 plants inside a 2'x1.5'x6' with ONE 125 WATT CFL. ( hung and moved daily) this enough light? really? i was thinking of going with 400 HPS for flowering stage.

i'd get about 2 more 27 watt 6500k's and hang them towards the side, but still above the plants, just to be safe.

One 125w would suffice if neccessary for ONE plant. Obviously when it comes to lights, more is better. As for ur soil, Alls I know is miricle gro moisture control is crap, and have heard the same about any other mg soil. I have however, had decent results with scotts potting mix i mixed with extra perlite. If u have no hydro store, u can get some decent nutes, and soil as well from a nursery if u have one close by.

Yea, Miracle Grow is crap from what i've read from others. Mainly cause they release fertilizers every time you water. Scotts should work fine, just grab a bag of perlite like richjames said, it will help with drainage and keep yur lil ones happy! :bigjoint:

Ya the time release really doesnt do it for me. The scotts has time release stuff in it too, but at very very low levels. Works for me.
