Ive never done water hash but from what if researched, observed, and done myself, dry ice hash is soooo much easier to make. It will be powdery but still very potent and much easier to smoke- add it to bowls, joints, bongs, vapes.

The trichomes are on the outside of the plant, so soaking achieves nothing useful. Freezing the plant material so that the trichomes are brittle will improve the yield more.

Define color. The dark ambers are b carotene and browns pheophytin, with green chlorophyll. None of these are target elements, and we would prefer to have none of them.

Better to check with a microscope for intact trichomes to determine when you are done.

so I do i just keep running it threw the bags til the color is gone.
what micron bags are you running? If you have the correct sizes the water color you are seeing is just chlorophyll and other plant leftovers. The screens catch the crystals

I'm running the same bags as u sounds like. I'm running leaf threw it. after 1 day. I clean the bags. but still have that real dark water. I'm think I run it threw several time
