this is my first allergy season where I'm at ... APPARENTLY, it's the worst in the country (US) though, I'm not exactly sure if it's true.

I had to go home sick from work today because my allergies are so bad they're making me physically sick to my stomach. I'm going to the drug store to get some more allergy meds. Here's my question ...

can the weed make allergies worse? I figure burnt plants going right into my lungs wouldn't help it if pollen from other plants going into my system is bothering me so much as it is. there was a sort of similar thread a few days ago, but didn't really touch on this specifically. so yea, does anyone know how weed affects current allergies?

my google searches seem to only come up with "can you be allergic to weed??" type stuff

I was bad years ago..you can be sensitive to pot, I'd get the sniffles sometimes (not always) not smoking, that just does the throat irritation thing, but the raw pot..I went and got tested ..I passed out right on top of the nurse..that bad...had a vaccine made...never had problem again...think about it...It's really worth it...free if Canadian..

yeah, my allergies are killing me right now, although I don't think i've ever had them quite as bad as yours are :spew:...
I never had allergies till i moved to california, but, then again, that's also when i started smoking weed.:mrgreen: This year i thought maybe i was in the clear, but it started hitting me on Monday, and today has been the worst day yet.
I would also say that smoking weed makes it worse.. especially the cottonmouth! But it doesn't really slow me down :blsmoke:.

no but the smoke from anything will aggrivate your poroblems you are already having its just common sense but i have ha d really bad allerrgies my whole life and can tell you form experience it does effect them especially schwag like if my nose is runny and eyes all fucked up from allergies and i smoke some chronic its get sworse

interesting stuff ... depressing though, cuz I wanted to chill out after feeling so crappy with a nice bowl or two, but maybe I'll pass on it for now. I just hate going without smoke when I don't have any other priorities to take care of.

I live in Nc, where if you have alergy problems and the diagnose it, they just give you one pill to treat every specific tree and still didnt work..

so i know your pain, but for my allergys dont interfere with my smoking.

Allergies suck, lol. I have em too. I used to get shots for them starting in febuary every week to gear up for the season. Do you know exactly what you are allergic too? I have been tested twice now. I think I am allergic to weed cause it falls under weeds and such, lol. If it touches my skin other than my hands, i get really itching. When trimming I take an allergy pill (Allegra D is the best out there) and have to wear a mask and gloves and long sleeves to prevent an allergy attack. I have felt as bad as you and feel for you, allergies suck. :peace:

Long time ago..Dr. sent me to allergy clinic, they made a vaccine...that was it...check any hospital allergy clinic online....

Yes I have been to the allergy doctor twice now and they tested me. They prick spots on your back or arms then drop stuff that you may be allergic to in the pricked spots. If it swells up or goes red, you are allergic to whatever they put on you. The tests suck cause if you have lots of allergies, you may have an attack and you feel itchy and sneezy.
