The 28 days only applies to the RCMP. I know Ottawa and Toronto both stated their police forces can use it so long as they are sober for work the next day. But you could definitely still present the argument that the officer may be above 2ng. Maybe that's what it will take for them to start testing for impairment and not arbitrary numbers.If you get stopped for anything, demand the cop be tested to prove he/she was fit for duty. 28 days...can't have a bunch of pothead pigs going around acting all stupid hopped up on that devil's lettuce!
