I harvested my plant about a month ago and I actually had to harvest it a bit to early so I only got half way through the flush. The bud was a bit harsh, so I read up on water curing and decided to donate 5 grams for the cause of trying it out. From what I read the smoke is smoother, weed gets darker, and weight decreases, only con's. Well after the first 12 hours the water looked like this... that shit was nasty and smelled so bad I gagged. Anyways, I put in about 6.5 grams in an the weight after is 4.5g so about 25% decrease but the smoke is 100% smoother and cleaner.

I have 2 plants worth of bud soaking as I type this.im trying it for cooking purposes,I have to imagine it should taste less "green"?
I am surprised at how dirty the water gets in 12 hours!

Wow. I've not heard of this method. I'll have to look it up.
 
I water cure all my buds now. Only difference is, once I chop my buds, they go straight into the water cure jar, and it's dumped every day and replaced with fresh water. I'll check the ppms also and once they come close to what my faucet puts out, which is about 45ppm, I'm done. I'll take all the buds out and dry them for a day or so and then jar up to final cure. Takes about 5 days.

Well I made 2lb's of butter from buds that I chopped and water cured.I did the stove top method with a thermometer and straight butter.
Wow!! My last runs of butter always had a green color to it,this time it is a deep amber! I made some choc chip cookies that tasted great! I could still make out a "green" taste but I had to almost look for it?
Btw,the cookies turned out great,I've been trying to type this for 15min......
