Hmmmnnn...............well that's probably open for debate, I have added some cheap UV diodes to the lights I've just put up, but how effective they are is anybodies guess. They're aimed at the reef tank community and they're buying them up, so they must be finding them useful. Thing is, even when the lights are up and running, I'll have no real comparison to tell whether they giving any benefit or not.
