OMG that bud just looks amazing, so frosty!
And that yield is outstanding, Bravo! And I think us DWC'ers are getting a little anxious lol

Seeing all those numbers has hurt my hungover brain!
Oh, I'm soo sorry! Hope you feel better soon!
I was hoping you'd rescue me, as I bet you know exactly how to figure that out! :P

Oh and anxious you say?
Nah no need, until I start actually replicating these results, that is, haha!

Feeling better now, hair of the dog is making me better!
I just work it on whatever wattage I use to flower, which could be a bit difficult to work out with an auto. But either way you look at it, you have done tremendously!

LMAO making the sum of Henry VIII and Louis XVI 2,104 grams - intriguing!!!! :bigjoint:

haha thank you, thank you!
It's such a pleasure to share grow experiences with you!

I've just taken some pix of the main cola, since I had to cut it up to get it into the jar.

Of course I left it as intact as possible, I know you guys have a weakness for big haha, may give it to my son for a Christmas present :D

So from 280g wet these centerpiece buds come to a weight of 71.4g at 58% humidity
(20.1 for the main cola)
Pretty exactly 1/4th of wet - extrapolated to the rest of the harvest, that would give a yield total of 260g. And that's way more than 1g/W, considering she got:
50W for 31 days (whereby there were 100W on the pineapple express shining over too)
100W for 3 days (with 50W shining over)
150W for 22 days
200W for 18 days
So what would the average wattage be for the grow?
My stellar early morning maths skills have just abandoned me - oh, no wonder, it's not early morning anymore haha
Taking a fuzzy estimate of 150W, that would be 1.7g/W
not bad eh :blsmoke:

If the way I grew her has anything to do with this yield, I'm starting to feel a tingling of confidence in that I can actually take it up with you DWC guys on that Blue Dream grow! :bigjoint:

I've put 3 boveda 62% in each 1.5L jar, just to push the humidity back up a bit, then I'll let them ride on 2 for 2 weeks or so.

I just had a test smoke, very smoothe, and very strong - but as always, you can tell it's like an uncut diamond. In just a few days, she'll start to unfold more facets! :weed:
jesus. (said not in vain)

So I made myself some CalPhos...
and tried it out, applying it twice, as a nicely diluted foliar and feed, in the time just before flower.

Probably did more harm than good, though I will not blame it for the midgrow distress the Sour Stomper got into either, not alone anyway. In this case, I have no need for scientific clarification of the validity of my choice, though the acetic acid is not exactly beneficial to the microherd, whilst the CalPhos (? can it even be called that) content is not accordingly high enough to be worth the effort anyway. But end of the day, all that...?
It just didn't feel right.

Eggshells added to the wormbin along with feedings will do the job just as well, nicely preprocessed by the time the EWC gets added to the soil. 8-)

So many and diverse learning experiences arose from this lovely, scary, and wild grow!
Ah, the Sour Stomper. we shall meet again!

The total dry weight came down to 232g in the end.
The top colas, which were so near the light, dried to 1/4 of their weight,
whilst the bushy part of the plant, getting less heat, dried to 1/5.
Makes sense, something I'll take more note of in future.
Possibly I could've given the bush another week or so to foxtail and densen up for a few grams more. But hey, she did great, and, given the potency she's hinted at from the test smoke right before jarring, will be liked even if the buds are a tad fluffy.

After pondering some, I'm pretty sure the major yield gain came from the LST, that allowed the tertiary branches to grow out. Not every strain will bring this gain, as not all strains have this trait of wanting to grow out auxiliary branches with such vigour. But with the Sour Stomper, it works - and yes I'll be seeing if I can replicate next year :)
Plant size and yield (taking the tertiaries out of the equation) turned out to be perfectly proportionate:
Mephisto describe the plant as 50-70cm height and 60-80g yield.
Mine was 99cm tall and gave me 120g (Main colas and secondaries together).

And the extravagant overall growth, I am putting down mainly to the feedings of living matter via plant part smoothies, SST, and kelp juice. I definitely have found my style for now, along with the assortment of microbe-rich substrates and composts I have begun building.
I do have this feeling I may consider complementing the fresh-feed style with things like FPEs in future, given I live in a cold climate. But I'm also thinking of an indoor open garden bed next to the dining table, growing tomatoes, salads, herbs... The Make-Your-Own-Meal Urban Minifarm :bigjoint:
Cheers and thanks for joining me on this ride!

So yesterday, day 75, whilst part of the world was whetting their knives to trim their turkeys, the final cutdown took place in my closet
First, I took out the fan leaves as far as was possible without knocking the buds around.
View attachment 3838907

Then, all the tertiary branches came off, leaving what I assume would have been the colas had I not LSTed, but instead lollipopped them. Of course in that case there wouldve been more bud up there, but t was just to give me an idea of the proportion of yield coming form different parts of the plant.
View attachment 3838909

The buds on the tertiary branches, including all the larf, came to 530g wet.
View attachment 3838908

Releasing the 6 bottom secondaries, I saw that they would've been about 75cm high had I not tied them down.
View attachment 3838910

Their buds, the really nice hard kind, added up to another 230g.
View attachment 3838911

So this girl gave me a total of 1040g wet bud in 75 days.
View attachment 3838912

Even if that dries down to less than 1/4th (I only stopped watering the day I took down her main cola), that's a lot, and over 1g/W, which I haven't ever gotten before.
I'm pretty wowed and having trouble understanding this happened haha :bigjoint:
That's a good yield Cali.really good stuff. Have you smoked much?

Yeah... I guess it was a "radical action to unseat the hold of monkey mind" lmao

noo idea, they had a few crazy covers over time, like this one (In the Court of the Crimson King)

Thanks!
nope I haven't, but by the end of next week they'll be curing 2 weeks, will be a good time to break a bud or two and see how she's turned out! :D

Great Stuff that Calliandra, those nugs are really a beautiful sight to behold "Double Thumbs Up!"

I have been out for a while and what eye candy to come back to!
haha thanks man -- good to see you around again!

yea @calliandra has had some of the biggest yields ive seen from an organic auto. shes got a serious green thumb!

what kind of lights were you running?
do you mean me? lol 3500K Cree COBs run at 50W each, started with 50W andincreased to 200W in the last days.
Cheers! :blsmoke:

i was crazy impressed with your yield so i bought new LEDs for my tent. citizen clu058 2700k and 4000k chips. however, the auto flowers seem to have a great joy vegging and stretching in the red/blue LEDs.
