    i've heard this is bad.

how bad is what i'd like to know.

like does it take years of inhaling it to hurt you or if i smoked for 2 months thru one would i notice anything now or in future?

"Copper gives off Copper Oxyde which is highly toxic and very unhealthy for you when heated"
is this a true statement? cause i know it wouldn't get that hot. i think this means it must be like torched?

    peace

OK first of all DONT fuck about with electricity if your incompetent to do so!
    That is how people DIE
Would you like to burn your house down?
I dont understand what your trying to do?
Oh yea i think i do?
Why not run a wire off your terminal from a breaker, And at the end of that wire have attached a socket to plug in to, because if i have got it right you wanna cut the plug of your ballast and connect it straight to your terminal? with a switch in between?
    am i right?
that means no room for a timer, because timers have to be plugged in to a socket
i would go with my idea with the wire and plug socket then add a timer with
But if you don't understand what your doing DON'T DO IT

I'll second most of that. What you are trying to do is very simple once you understand a few principles. I would suggest buying a book at Home Depot or from Amazon - Wiring Made Simple or something like that. Or read up on the internet. The basics you learn will serve you well for the rest of your life.

Don't underestimate the power of electricity to fuck your shit up.

Sounds good. It's not like you can't just buy some new lungs if it doesn't work.

Kidding. The real problem is the people in this world who are metal-phobes. Always spreading rumors, what's next? Mercury isn't cool to play with? Lead dildos are somehow "bad"? Somehow arsenic is bad for you even though it tastes so damn good? Do NOT believe any of it. Many happy tokes on your new pipe and don't let the metal-nazis scare you off.

prolly won't smoke out of it. appreciate you guys caring so much, next time go about it in a nicer way or just let me be a dumbass if i don't take into consideration what you say.

i googled for 45 mins trying to find something like this. i was searching copper oxide.. which is what happens when copper gets hot.. never found a thing about it being bad for you.

but again i thank you picasso and the rest of rollitup.

Oy. Whatever, lol. I'll not be smoking from a copper pipe anytime soon, but more power to you.

Another thought is that you might want to think about making a nice asbestos bong. I hear you can buy asbestos pretty cheap like when they are tearing down an old building. I hear that asbestos is pretty cool because it is like a super insulator. Think about it bro!

Might as well smoke through a lead pipe. Glass pipes are cheap enough, and if you look carefully you can find them at convenient stores.
