I grew this strain and thought I'd give my opinion in case anyone was considering giving it a try. Enjoy.

Nirvana's Aurora Indica

Ordered direct from Nirvana

Veged approx 4 weeks - 12'' - 16'' tall under 600 watt MH & supplemental lighting

Flowered approx 91/2 weeks. approx 30'' tall under 600 watt HPS & supplemental lighting.

Ease of grow - Very easy.

Aroma - About 6 weeks into flower she developed a strong sweet, skunky, fruity aroma. Not a low odor strain

Flavor - Very sweet/fruity/skunky. This is one strain that really needs to be cured. After about a month she's ready and just keeps getting better.

Yeild - Decent yielder. Medium sized supper frosty conical buds.

Potency - A good strong stoney high. Heavy enough for the daily smoker. Flower for 9 plus weeks for best results.

Over All Rating - 7.5 - Had a wider range of phenotypes that I would have liked. I'll be working with this one refine it a bit.

Comments - Honestly, this F1 is not very stable, but when you get a good one, she'll get your attention. A good pick for the basement breeder looking for something to add to their gene pool.

i know its ur opinion and all but

id have to totally disagree with you on sum things, you dont need to cure this strain for a month to get the flavor hell at 2 weeks the taste will sit in ur mouth for hours after you smoked. and be very smooth. the first grow with this strain i did i didnt really flush at all gave a 2 week cure and it was super couldnt tell it apart from some month old stuff a friend had

and the smell is not that strong , having 3 and no carbon filter i still do not smell them unless im in there room .. very low odor even the first time i grew this strain in 80+ temps the odor was verylow

oh and you need to watch for 1 pheno that even if flower'd at 12 inchs will shoot to around 5 ft really fast

if i steppd on ya toes sorry just addin my 2 cents

You didn't step on my ties, but if you notice I did mention that this strain is very unstable.

So the fact that your experience with this strain was different from mine is really not very surprising.

Happy growing.

I am also growing this strain. Planted one seed in jiffy peat pellet and on july 10th, sprouted on july 14th. Seedling is one week old today. Keeping them on the 18-6 veg schedule under 75 watts of cfls ( 2 27k 23 watt cfl's & 2 65k 14 watt cfl's. Will be adding more cfl's in two weeks or so. My growing medium is a mix of fox farms ocean forest and light warrior 1:1. This is my second grow with this setup.IMG_20140714_115025.jpgIMG_20140723_215030.jpg
