for veg its good but once you start flower if all condidtions arent right you could see ptential loss in yield, bud density and potency..for flower 40% humidity at most

i like everything about them so far so i guess well see ...
im not to familiar with smart pots, but if you are having humidity issues and its due to the pots the way i would go about helping the situation would be to cut back the under brush of your plants. get in there and remove all that lower crap that doesnt get any light or little light at all. after that i would get 1or2 small to medium sized fans (depending on size of grow) to make a home under the canopy to keep air circulating under there. i would take the under brush about a week before you flower. another benefit of this is you will push all those growing hormones from that under garbage to the top of the canopy where they will do some good. hope this is of some help.
im in cali also buddy and where im at the humidity is killer on my outdoor. i found using a product called serenade (its a fungacide spray}during the growth stages helps to prevent or inhibit mold and rot during the later flowering stages when the mornings are super foggy and wet. i also make sure to get out in the morning and shake off the dew from the night before. some areas of cali take constant vigilance to keep the mold and rot away. its not a bad idea to get an ocsilating fan out there if it gets too bad
Yup, not a problem. You'll see this early on then it stops unless you keep them or the area under them to wet. That how they work. The tap roots peak out and then air prune and start to make a huge mass of roots inside. No more poke out.
