smart pot

need some advice ..ive been doing 4-6 in 5 gal pots for a few years with a 600 hps. my question is im gonna do 3 in 15 gal. smart pots and veg 8 weeks. how will that work out? sorry, green crack can wipe ya slick man

Are you wondering whether that will all fit under the light? Curious... what was your average yield off those 4-6 plants under the 600?

Haha diabolical nice avatar, I am also curious what you pulled as well I just raked in 17 oz's for my first grow 5 diff strains in 5 gallons smarts pots. Round 2 is halfway through. Im sure you will do just fine as well. I am about to run 2 20 gallon smart pots under my 600W LED not by choice just because I had some clones dampen off. Im sure you will do fine with either setup tho either just give em a little training you should be just as comparable to previous grows if not better!

sorry guys for taking so long, my bad ive been getting 2.5- 4 oz dry each even with cfls, hps tightens um up. just ordered smart pots ,15 gal for 15$ each give or take, im thinkin 5 oz dry ea. wat u think

I have a smart pot I havnt had a chance to use, wanted to see if I could do a little something along the lines so took a five gallon bucket and in addition to drainage holes I drilled maybe 20 1/2 inch holes in the sides, 4 rows of five on the "sides" of the bucket (do round buckets have sides?) Either way 4 rows of five holes. It didnt leak dirt or anything, well push came to shove and they had to get lost and I was very very impressed with the large root growth when I yanked em, it definitely made a difference adding hella side holes, who knows maybe 8 rows of five woulda been better, dries the soil a little quick but it was impressive, I figured I'd throw it out there because if you've got the buckets already its cheaper then buying the smart pots and likely to be just as good, I just saw you bought em tho, can always make it four lovely ladies and see what works best if your one to expirement
