Great nugs and great tune, that Fisherman dub :)

How you are pllaned to run you COB's ?
@uzerneims Fisherman's DUB is awesome! Glad you liked it, old school for sure..........

So for the Vero's, I ordered these drivers from Fasttech: I am running x2 Vero's per each driver. Should be between 42-48 watts total for [6] Vero 10 3500k's.

Just put a little more work into the Cree box: Not sure what drivers I am going with here:
P1130068.JPG P1130069.JPG P1130070.JPG

These are my choices on drivers so far:

Meanwell LPF-60-48
PLN-60-48
LPC-60-1400
PLP-60-48's [my favorite for Meanwell]

These cheapo's from Ebay:

39v 1500mA $10.36

Hmm, 1.3A hmm, Constat Current...
I've planned to run two cxa's too, easier to score, than to pay for shipping to EU from digikey or smth else for veros.
Planning just for dimmable driver.

Nice, I just got an email for mine, so I am anxiously waiting :)

I wanted to go dimmable and all the way up to 2.1a's with my cxa's, but space became an issue.....so I decided to just run 1.4amps or so, for now and upgrade later.

Also other drivers to consider:

http://rollitup.org/t/stealth-led-array-light.845979/page-10
SDS is using the Meanwell HLP-80H
, which is also open frame, but dimmable up to 2.1A? I believe....also if you are going to add more chips at any point....I would think about the 185H-1400-42B. Max of 1.4, but can drive [x4] altogether...:peace:
His build is my ultimate inspiration......

Looking good man! Definitely gonna watch this one, really interested to see how these LEDs perform.

What are the dimensions of your grow space?

Thanks for tagging along, glad to have yah!

This first cab is 27" Wide x 19" Deep x 32" Tall.....Dual 6" muffin fans are the exhaust, passive intake.

I also have a Minifridge, where the Vero 10's will live, the dimensions are 31" Tall x 17"x 17" :peace:[/QUOTE]

Hey gang....time for an update, still going strong. Approaching day 50+ for a couple girls, so a few days to a couple of weeks for some....:peace:
P1130197.JPG P1130198.JPG P1130200.JPG P1130202.JPG P1130203.JPG

Also got busy and almost finished with my first DIY LED horti light.....6x Bridgelux Vero 10 3500k @300mA....haven't hooked a gauge up to it yet..between 45-50 watts and a little over 5000 lumens.
In my mini fridge usually is about 55w's of Cree Home Depot Led Bulbs. This light is about 10% more efficient than the cree bulbs while drawing about 10w's less power @ 110 lumens/watt roughly....[Edit: err...new #'s say more like 120+ lumens/watt...Im all smiles, this is HID territory!]

...hopefully going to start flowering on Dec. 1 with this light....:leaf:

was wondering what happened with you, glad to see an update with all that joyful frost mate!

gj on the DIY leds its definitely interesting and nice that people share their knowledge to make DIY Leds, they seem to work pretty good and are pretty cheap compared to those expensive brand led, just need alot of good work in it

cant wait to see it in action, keep it up Abiqua

thanks mate! this has actually been a lot of fun and felt not very tedious [even though it was for a couple of days]
I made the leap after running led bulbs for about a year, couldn't be happier. And the tech, I think I have developed some shortcuts too, is easy to follow along.

If you have any questions about building LEDS or the build itself, ask away. Building your own DIY doesn't have to be a nightmare. Especially with white cob's. They really are kicking ass!

more to come :peace:

that will run cold as ice. My 50mm, 600mm long, T extrusions sits at 7C > ambient, Tc ~ 45 > ambient. 3x3 v10 driven by HLG-60 @ 233mA (54w). 90mm fan on a diy PID controller for exhaust and a 120mm for circulation in a 500H x 550W x ~350D cab.

Small but effective.

I plan to take the leap and make my own LEDs but now is not the time for me. I'm looking to add 1 Kessil H380 to my setup and use the cheap ebay chinese leds as side/vegetative lights once I'll be done working on my other cab but that wont be done soon yet
