Slow Finisher

I have a small stealth grow with 3 bag seed girls. They are abot 60 days flowering now but it seems they have really slowed in their maturation latly. Around day 50 I thought they would be done within a week but now at day 60 it looks to me like they still need another week for the x-tals to turn more amber and the pistals to completly mature. The last few days have shown little change at all. I am wondering if this is common, as this is only my 2nd grow, and also if there is anything i can do to aid the finishing of my girls, or maybe I should just harvest soon anyways. Thanks

are these the same girls from your first grow? if not, just wait for them to finish. if so, just wait for them to finish. FREE JACK!

they are not the same, all are different and are maturing at different rates but my best has slowed almost to a halt and fan leaves keep yellowing and dropping off. They have been getting only water for over 14 days now since i thought i would be harvesting sooner, might this explain the slow finish?

I wouldn't add any molassis to your grow now. I would only use straight RO water...The leaves will yellow, wilt and dry up and die. This is a good sign that the plant is using up the rest of it stored food resources. This is what you want. You will end up with bud that has no ferts in it. By not adding any food to your water, you are forcing the plants to think they are dying, and they will finish up growing...

If you want to help finish them, you can always change the light schedual from 12/12, to 10/14. This will help speed them up. Or you can try adding something like a ripener,,I cant think of any at the moment, but I know there are at least two different ones my local hydro store sells. Hope this helps you out. If I remember the name I will let ya know.

Here is the stuff I was trying to tell you about,,
Hope this helps you out...........

General hydroponics ripen, is a liquid that is used as a catylst that speeds up the rate in which your plant reacts with the oxygen and nutrients surrounding it. General hydroponics ripen basicly forces the plant to speeds up its ripening process hence the name "Ripen". This is particularly useful if you have only a certain amount of time to produce your crops by, and also increases the amount of crops you produce overall. It is only possible to use Ripen for 2 weeks maximum prior to desired harvesting date. General hydroponics ripen has also been found to be beneficial in producing additional essential oils in plants.
