Personally I would remove them but please don't on my account I am in my first grow and have no experience to go on. From my understanding though they will do nothing but steal precious nutrients from the big buds and only produce undesirable buds due to the minimal light they receive, this leaves people to remove them to assure their prime buds get everything. That blue one I would leave for sure though.

You might be right! Thanks for the tip :D

Update day 39 of flowering - I'm having a hard time figuring out why her condition is getting worse :/ I water her with 50% strength of flora bloom, flora gro, and flora micro + cal mag.. And she isn't underwatered or overwatered to my knowledge.. I know yellowing of the leaves and them falling off is natural as the buds dense up and suck up all the nitrogen.. But... Not this much... Right?

I'm worried the yellowing and shedding will move to the buds next.. It's slowly moving up.. And I'm only in day 39.. I'm still far from harvest.. Right?

I'm worried :(

One of my girls was yellowing pretty bad when the others were good (4 weeks into flower) I lollipopped the shaded bud sites a little more aggressively with the thinking less buds to draw nutes from leaves the slower it would cannibalize itself. It seems to have slowed down dramatically, not a great test sample to go from just my experience.

Yeah I plan on removing them, just haven't had the time. I'll probably do it tomorrow morning, when I give it a watering as well ^^ No reason to have that many budsites sitting in the shade.

Day 40 of flowering. One of the buds are showing some amber trichomes.. But none of the others are. I tried to capture a picture of it.. Also took a picture of some of the other buds.

Amber trichomes on that right leaf there, try zooming a bit.

Day 42 of flowering. Humidity is resting at around 40%, temp at around 22c, a little lower at night so it's perfect. I'm feeding her the dosages suggested on the flora trio bottle, which I've heard are the "maximum" dosages, and it seems like she's enjoying it. I water every other day/every third day.

Looks good, keep feeding the bitch, she'll show nute burn right away so if she's like the feed keep going.

Don't worry about trichs on the sugar leaves you need to be looking at the actual buds trichs to see if there ready. But you have a lot of fresh white hairs being thrown out so you're outside two weeks in my opinion

Good luck

Sounds awesome, I hope she will get a bit more dense in those two/three weeks then. And which are the actual bud trichs? Which are sugar leaves and which are actual bud?

Cheers

She is starting to show some very very very slight signs of nute burn. The yellowing of the tips. I'll check tomorrow if it becomes worse, but will probably feed her a tad less next time. Just a bit.

Now you know her limit. Back off just a tad, continue the feeds and just watch the new growth. If the new growth looks good don't worry about the damaged leaves. They won't heal.

Day 46 of flowering - She's looking a tad worse :/ Some burnt tips, some random yellowing even on the buds.. I think the burnt tips are due to me feeding her pretty hard..

I checked it out, but are you sure that's it? I always check my ph, and feed with plenty of GHE bloom, so it should be covered on the phosphorous part.

An entirely different question, should I be flushing soon?

Purple stems are signs of calcium deficit.

Bro have you not read the treads on the myths of "flushing"

In my opinion you should keep feeding her. Bump the calmag cut back a tad on the bloom nutes.

You're in coco if you pour plain water only in the lest few weeks you'll fursure kill your plant.

Funny you say that, I just now watered her, but with 50% of the recommended bloom nutes, but 100% of the recommended cal mag.. So let's hope it helps her a tad.

And no flushing you say? I've just always heard that you should. Guess I'll read up some more.

Also how many days till harvest do you reckon? Just based on the pictures.. When I check the buds with a microscope most of the crystals are still clear, non cloudy, but I don't have any sense of time on this, since it's my first grow.
