Day 27 - Plant doing fine, the shoots are moving in position. I'm considering using my scrog net in a day or two when they reach the height of the first metal bars in the tent, just to even out the canopy a bit.

If you supplement in some silica to your feedings it will help build stronger cell walls and also helps with plant stress. It will make your stems more flexible and helps with less breakage of the stems. They become more pliable. Just remember a little silica goes along ways so take it easy or it can burn your plants.
Thanks for the tip! Will do that for my next grow.

Yh that was the plan but cheese strains in my experience are really finicky and don't like much training (2 previous grows with it) but few days after letting her go she started praying, my other PK (Pineapple Kush) loves training I'm using elastic cotton and she's really happy with it, looking forward to seeing how she's doing ;)
Elastic cotton? I'm using pipe cleaners, works fine for now ^^

Yh kind of small headbands, they can fight against it n it'll give but the more they fight the more resistance they create, like you said it's like a gym session that gets harder wen they do

Day 28, considering flowering soon.

I've tied most of the brances down a bit, just so that all the shoots are facing upwards and close to the middle. Not sure if it's visible or not.

Shes looking nice and happy bud, Is she pre flowering or changed her growth pattern yet?
I have no idea lol. I haven't flipped her yet. But I kind of want to. But then again, I could wait until I reach the scrog net heigh.. So I can get those shoots under control properly.

Look out for small white hairs on the base of the node or for the plant to 'stager' grow, one shade at a time instead of regular two, then the plant is ready but u can always flower before.

Nah, none of that yet I think..Giving it a week or so more. Then flowering. Should be perfect ^^

Day 29

Flowering as soon as I've lined up all the shoots in the same height. Going to be abusing the scrog hard for the next few days until they're all the same height.

Good/bad idea?

Day 30 of veg. I'm just abusing my scrog net a bit and spreading out the canopy as much as possible trying to get a few more shoots. Works fine so far.

I can count at least 8 shoots. :D Anyone with experience with scrogging who can tell me what to do differently? or tips/tricks etc.

Let the screen fill up or 3 quarters full before flipping but it's a perfect size net for a single plant, if possible remove a shade or two if there over shadowing a head but otherwise your on the right track to good crop she looks happy

Funny you mentioned it I actually did remove a few leaves. Slight lollypopping. And big leaves that block shoots have been pushed out of the way. I'll show you tomorrow ^^ Thanks for the tip :D

Ironic.. We started seeds the same day under quite similar conditions, and if I hadn't underestimated the amount of coco I needed to transplant, it'd be the same medium too.. Lol. Had to mix my coco perlite with a little earthgro with added perlite. Got some colorado thunder (test genetics) on dyna gro grow, dg protekt, Humboldt calyx magnum, super thrive, and great white mycorrhizae under a 400w cob led for veg and 400 super hps for flower. Like you, I'm almost battling with no climate control. I'll definitely be watching! Best of luck to you!

day 31 - Flipped to flowering. I'm nervous about height and the shoots are looking fine.

I'm planning on going cob as well soon, hopefully it will make a difference.. And yeah LED's are awesome on the climate control part. It's a major relief not having to worry about humidity or heat or cold. It just fits perfectly.

Day 1 of flowering (Day 32 total) Removed a little bit of foilage.

For my next grow I will be better at topping, and lst'ing. I can see now where I made mistakes, and how to improve for the next grow. So that's kind of exciting. Not saying this will be a bad grow, but the next one will be better!

Day 8 of flowering, my humidity is pretty high, not sure how to fix that. It's at 70%. Temps are fine, nice and low for flowering. (22c)

I changed my LED from a mars hydro 300 to a Photon 180 from Photon Labs/Northern growlights. Lovely having a white light instead of the purple.

Lowering humidity depends on ur budget tbh cheap option is a dehumidifier cheaper option is to hang a sock full of salt in there but it's not quite as effective as a electric dehumidifier, what's ur new lights watts? When did u install it? And how much did it set you back? Nice job on the scrog as well :-D

I doubt I could even fit a dehumidifier in there. But thanks for the sock tip!! And it's 190 watts, and it set me back 300$.

and I just installed it like 1 hour ago :P

And thanks a lot! Was my first time doing it so I know I made some mistakes, but it could have turned out worse.

EDIT; never mind. I ordered this

Only cost me like 70$, and is tiny enough to fit in my room. I want my RH% down to 40-50%, and in the end of flowering below 40%..
