Should I Trim the fan leaves off during budding

so i have plants that are almost 4weeks into flowering and the leaves are turning yellow from the bottom up but the leaves around the buds are staying green should i just leave the leafs alone or should i trim some of the bottom ones cuz i heard that makes more energy for the rest of the plant

ive trimmed tons of fan leaves off. No stunted growth. Made smaller side growths large, of course dont trim all and save a bunch of healthy fan leaves.

if ur gon to remove the leaves do it slowly. i did it on one of my crops and didnt reall notice anything good or bad, but im not making a habbit of it. it will allow more light to reach the lower buds. i would only do it in flowering late.
Thanks ...
Thats how we do it here. ...
But the last days we strip all fans and take pictures of our naked girls. ...

:peace:

if you remove fan leaves during flowering, only remove those that are blocking light from reaching the inside of the plant. never remove fans off of the tops or your main kolas.. when you leaves start to gold from the bottom up, its ok to remove those as soon as they start to turn as they are going to die in a day or two anyway. always remove leaves that are more tha 50% damaged as they generally arent adding to the growth of the plant anyway.

i always check leaves with a hand loupe before removing them during flowering anyway. if they contain trichs, i leave them on anyway. i remove all fan leaves only 24 hours before harvest.

I only remove fan leaves if I have extreme over crowding problems and the only if it is absolutely necessary. Sometimes I tuck the leave and over a couple weeks it dies on its own and then I remove it. If I remove Fan leaves it is only a few at a time and I wait a couple days before I do it again. But I do remove fan leaves on almost every plant I have ever grow where light penetration was an issue.

So I basically had a few seeds from some ditch weed, decided to plant one and now I'm about 3 weeks into 12/12. I started doing research as it got older as I never expected it to be where its at now. I trimmed some large fan leaves about a week before 12/12 and it only grew more and more larger ones especially at the top where the light is best. I'm wondering if I should trim a few of the top fan leaves even though the lower buds appear to be growing fine, I only wonder if they will grow better.
I've counted around 30 lower buds growing and the plant is roughly 3 feet tall. I did read that the red on the stems could be a nitrogen deficiency and I did up the fertilizer a little and they are fading but that's a different topic. Any feedback is helpful!

Leave the leaves! The plant is using them to gather food and provide respiration. Until the leaves are completely dead, they are working to help the plant grow. Removing them will not always cause stunted growth, but it does remove a viable source of food and vitality for the plant.
