Should I arrange me strains under bulb according to stretchiness?

Hi

I'm growing 5 Arjans Ultra Haze, and 5 [mixed up WW and Skunk #1, random]
in coco, drip system, 250w HPS. soonish.

So my question is,
dyou think better if the ultra stretchy haze gets big at the sides,
while the shorter WW and/or Skunk sits comfy in the middle,

Or shall I just whack them in staggered to see whats what, like

/\thats the growspace btw 5x2 plants

Is there a general rule to follow here or does it not really matter?
Just wanted to know if I'd be missing out on some smoke
Cos the first option seems sensible enough but then the haze is always gonna be 2nd class..
