it's a 70/30 sativa , and i have grown literally hundreds of sativa and sativa dom hybrids, your plant looks a lot more like indica dom hybrids and chem plants when vegging. I got more pictures of other sativa strains if you are interested.
Nah, I trust you.

BF's AG is crossed with afghani. thats pretty clear from a lot of grow reports & i believe they confirmed it. now if your's is flowering @ 14weeks you got a nice AG expression, tho to me the leaves do look indica(also a misnomer, from a botany stand point indica is any strain that intoxicates you, sativa is cannabis as a whole including hemp. alot of the heads have tried to bring it to wide leaf or narrow leaf but isnt always accurate at face value as some "pure" sativas have wider leaves which the main determination for it then is flowering length. prob should be calling everything indica or afghanica but try teaching that to the masses.. enough ranting!)

This is apparently a Purple Mexican (Oaxaca x Chitral). My AG is clearly a good deal more Sativa than this 50/50 landrace hybrid F1.

Purple Mexican (someone else’s)

i see what your saying, just keep in mind that IndicaXsativa doesn't necessarily equal 50/50 indica/sativa. That may be what you get when you average the genetics but different phenos/genos have different ratios and/or dominant genetics.
edit: and looking at the newer growth on the previous post it looks sativa, those original leaves are just outrageously wide for how long they are. also i bet people are thrown off by the height with the thickness of the stem. did your buddy mention that his AG cut grew like this or do you attribute it largely to your methods?

Does not look pure sativa to me. A lot of genetics have been muddied over the years, due to the seed trade.
Not arguing with you, but they practically look identical. Like, you know not all Sativas have those ultra-streamlined leaves, right? Not patronizing, serious question.

your plants look good. i'll just leave this here, the description from the BF website: Barneys Farm are continually pushing the limits of marijuana genetics, improving their selection and breeding processes to create something that is truly breath-taking. ACAPULCO GOLD™ is the next generation of marijuana. Like the original namesake the ACAPULCO GOLD™ flowers with fat colas, flecked with beautiful reddish brown calyx, each covered with beautiful crystals of THC. The smoke has an intense fruit cocktail flavour that lingers for hours. This is a Sativa dominant strain that offers a long lasting high, balancing relaxing stress reduction with a real upbeat effect. Acapulco Gold far surpasses the rhapsodized smoke of days past.
alot of the old heads agree it had a fruity flavor BUT with a mothball back end. the Dispensary by me has it. i believe its Bodhi's.
